The Wayfarer Inn, Bedford, NH is located on the site of the historical John Goffe's Mill. In 1744, "Hunter John" Goffe built the powered saw and gristmill. The mill was operated for more than 2 centuries by his decendants. In 1845 the mill burt down and rebuilt the following year.
