Everything looked great and cleane. Only one thing ruined the evening. The hot tub would not hold water and by the time the water level was noticed yo be getting to low the water jets where shooting across the room. In a panic to run across the room to shut off the jets I almost slipped and fell. This was just a big embarrassing night with my wife.

My family and I drove out from sierra vista, az and we arrived in redondo at 3am and at 8 am we went to the hotel and explained to the manager on duty (shawn) that we had arrived in town very early and were hoping to check in and he explained to us that we would have to wait till 2pm for check out but he was so nice and considerate that he took our number and said that if someone checked out early he would call us and we could check in. We went to the beach and within an hour or so he called and had our room ready for us. I was very appreciative with shawn. We would definately stay there again on our next trip. « less

As others have said: excellent location, great value, good breakfast options. I really like that they have laminate floors in the rooms (not carpet), which helps my travel allergies and is one less place for bedbugs to hide. Stayed here three nights on business, and found the room to be quiet, comfortable, and an excellent base for what I needed (a place to sleep and do a bit of email). As far as the hotel and room and amenities go, I would stay here again.
The BUT, and the reason this is three and not four stars, is that there is something in these rooms that causes me weird medical symptoms. I felt tired but OK when I went to bed the first night. I woke up with my eyelids practically glued shut with goonk, and my eyes were bright red, like I had pink eye (which I didn't; I'm a physician and I know the difference). Over the day, my symptoms got better. The next AM, they were back, and same thing the day after that. I don't know if it's glue in the floor, something in the air vents, or the pillow filling, but this hotel just made me kinda sick. If you're chemical-sensitive, I would be wary. If that's not an issue, it's a great property! « less
