The Hollywood Roosevelt - A Thompson Hotel completed a $50 million dollar refurbishment that has brought the glamour of Hollywood’s fabled past back to Hollywood Boulevard. Home to the town’s hottest Tropicana Bar and Tim & Liza Goodell’s chophouse Dakota, the hotel is buzzing with scene-makers, musicians and the entertainment industry’s glitterati. The most popular destination on property is often the hotel’s heated outdoor swimming pool with depths up to 9ft, one of the largest outdoor hotel pools in Los Angeles; it boasts the only place in the world you can swim in a million dollar piece of art, as original tiles are painted by acclaimed artist David Hockney.

We are also one of the only means of gaining access to the members only Magic Castle Club. This private club offers dinner and performances nightly for those 21 and over, and a weekend brunch for all ages. There is very limited availability and a strict dress code is enforced, so please contact our front desk staff to make arrangements as early as possible.
