The best part was the staff’s attention; Special thanks to Pinky she went out of her way to accommodate us all. She knew it was graduation weekend and made sure we were all prepared for the events. Got us the necessary supplies and everyday she made sure our rooms were done ; cleaned from top to bottom. Even though the facilities are old ; the rooms are updated. The hotel served the purpose which was to have a place to sleep. It is a high season weekend in Charlotesville so everywhere was booked and this place was too. Well done and thanks to all the crew running the place.

We stayed in Charlottesville for two days and there was so much more to do!
Nature: Charlottesville is an amazing place for the casual to intermediate nature enjoyer. There is ample opportunity in hiking trails with varying levels of difficulty, one even passes by Monticello.
Feeling: Charlottesville is a welcoming place. It's a college town with a lot of history, and you tend to find that the people there are involved in the community and it seemed as though anyone could find an event for them.
Restaurants: There are several amazing restaurants that Charlottesville has to offer - Bodo's Bagels (Pastrami Bagel with Muenster Cheese, Mustard, and Raw Onion), The Whisky Jar (Chicken Skin Burger), Umma's (Korean Fried Chicken), and Marco and Luca Dumplings (fried dumplings) were just a few of the culinary highlights of our trip.
All in all, if anyone has the chance to visit Charlottesville and you are the type of person, or people, who enjoy nature, historic towns, quirky shops, eclectic food choices, and an overall relaxed, laid back feeling, go to Charlottesville already!

We only had two nights in Charlottesville.
We only had two nights in Charlottesville. I think we could have easily spent another couple of days. We spent 6 hours at Monticello and could have still gone back for more. We spent an afternoon walking on The Mall, which is the historic Main Street that was pedestrianized. There were so many great shops and restaurants we could have enjoyed the change to visit more of them. There were also great music venues but we didn't get a chance to see any shows.

We were there for a Track meet at UVA.
We were there for a Track meet at UVA. Very close to the university and historic downtown area. Visit to Monticello was excellent and only about 15 mins away. Traffic was a bit congested but was manageable but showed the robustness of the area. On way home drove threw Shenandoah valley. A must. Spectacular views.

The rooms were clean, the bed were great.
The rooms were clean, the bed were great. It was hard to watch TV when not in bed, there was only a desk chair in the room. The restaurant was handled by one man who was also the bartender and the cook. He did a fantastic job, the food was excellent and there was little wait time. He was most welcoming and he was the highlight of our stay.

We toured Montecello, the Trump Winery, the Downtown Mall area, and traveled to Ruckersville and Stanardsville to visit the little shops and antique stores. Getting around Charlottesville was a little hectic because there seemed to be a lot of construction and the roads were a little difficult to navigate due to unusual lane patterns. The mountain area is beautiful.

Nice downtown promenade and holiday lights.
Nice downtown promenade and holiday lights.
Good food at The Whiskey House (?) Restaurant.
And of course...the mansions. Beautiful views and such a deep touch to our nation's history! These politicians, even tho slave holders, at least had class. And understood the timing to make change happen.
And lived w/ in those attitudes.
Sleep Inn was affordable, clean ,busy, well maintained and convenient! TY for great hot waffles! And a comfie bed.

I highly recommend this place. Location is perfect and away from the hustle and bustle of the university area. Wawa was closed by and is 24hrs open. Hotel looks new and the rooms, bed, toilet and facilities smells and looks clean. Breakfast was plenty from 6-10am. Eggs, sausages, potatoes, gravy and pancakes. Ive been to other hotels and Holiday Inn is by far the best ive been to. Staff were friendly, Tina, who kept the breakfast area tidy and topped up. Plenty of parking as too. Well done!
This was the second time we stayed at STAYBRIDGE Hotel in Charlottesville VA--and during the same weekend as first stay the end of Dec 2020. It is the anniversary weekend of our daughter & her sweet husband.
We do plan, right now, to make it a tradition so that, YES, we love staying here. STAYBRIDGE has everything one needs to be comfortable and because it is PET FRIENDLY, our Skye, stayed as comfortable as we did. Breakfast was complete with all the "FIXINS".
Thank you STAYBRIDGE
Charlie was exceptional and was great to talk to about things to do in and around the area as well as ideas for our ongoing trip. A really genuine guy. Breakfast was delicious with homemade scones and cakes, granola and fresh fruits. The hotel had a real Southern charm about it. Lovely to sit outside on the porch and read. Car park is always a plus.
Just loved this brand new hotel, which is a stone's throw from the Charlottesville airport. The hotel was super clean; nice fitness room, ample parking. The staff is super friendly and professional. Easy access to Route 29 and near a ton of shopping possibilities (Target, Harris Teeter, restaurants, Starbucks, etc.). Can't wait to return!
I liked the nice, quirky touches in the decor of the Graduate. Also the rooftop terrace is very nice to have a drink. Location is conveniently enough. You can walk in to town or to the campus. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were very pleasantly surprised with what Charlottesville has to offer. Many nice eateries, coffee places, etc.
The Oakhurst is a cute little boutique hotel on the edge of the UVA campus. While you can't walk to downtown, it's a great location for the campus. It's stylish and the beds are comfortable. Free chilled water bottles in the shared sitting area were a nice perk.
I come to Charlottesville several times a year to visit Charlottesville and like staying at the Omni. The location on the downtown Mall is very convenient for shopping, eating out and people watching. The hotel is well maintained with pleasant staff.
We came in during the massive Charlottesville power outage. Your staff was slammed but still nice and handled the cold cranky mob well. The room was clean and quiet and WARM! Your hotel was a life-saver for us.
This will be my regular stop for staying in Charlottesville from now on! ADORABLE efficiency apartment for a bargain price. Totally clean and beautifully scenic. We'll be coming back for sure!
The hotel was conveniently located, the swimming pool was clean and quiet. breakfast was nice and the coffee in the room was also very nice and welcome first thing in the morning.
Hotel was clean and conveniently located. Breakfast was ok as well. Charlottesville hotels are overpriced, and this one is more reasonable than others in the area.
Excellent staff at the check-in desk. Knowledgeable and helpful. The room is small, but very well arranged. Great location for visiting Charlottesville 👍. TV
We came to Charlottesville because I had a doctor's appointment downtown. I wanted a hotel close enough within walking distance. This location was perfect.
