We enjoyed the Deluxe Bungalow during our stay over Thanksgiving. The room was warm and cozy. We were able to have a complete dinner in the room as it has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room table. We also enjoyed the fireplace and deck. The new owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were a little slow on responding to request, but always came through. I highly recommend this establishment.

The room was not clean including the bedding. They moved us to another room that was a little cleaner but the shower had problems. The nob that turns the water on was not put on right so it kept falling off.

Cute little historic town, seems there are more shops and restaurants open on weekends, and most things close around 4 or 5pm - even the ice cream shop!
Eat at Saluti's if you like Italian. Eat at La Esmeralda if you like Mexican, don't let the shopping center location deter you!
Next drive into Amador City.... very cute! But definitely on the Fri-Sun!!

Bed was small, will request a different room next time. Very nice room but I'm a big guy and the bed wasn't a Queen. Mel's Diner across the hwy was as good as it gets. Old town never disappointed with the shops and the walk.

Lots of fun little shops to go into in the historic downtown area. Friendly people and it was easy to get around. Also had a good abundance of thrift stores to poke around in too. For a small town it also had some bigger stores like Ace Hardware, Joann's, Grocery Outlet, that we weren't expecting to see, especially so close to the historic downtown. Wish we had more time to go to the mines and the historic graveyard. Guess those will be for next time.

Christmas day stay over was awesome quiet and enchanting...
Christmas day stay over was awesome quiet and enchanting with all the beautiful lights & decorations around the hotel !! Most of the places were closed but still fun to window shop & drive around town exploring before next day of work !!
Thank you receptionist Holly for ALL your kind assistance & see you again for our Anniversary !!
We wanted to go wine tasting nearby and this was the only reasonably priced accomodation that suited our needs. The area is very spread out and we didn't want to stay far away when tasting wine. Our room was basic and clean and quiet and includes free parking in the lot. You can go over to the casino easily and have dinner (pricey) or a drink. Overall it is a basic hotel room that gets the job done in an area where there aren't many options.
We like to stay at this hotel before going to Kirkwood ski resort.
1 hour to Kirkwood, perfect breakfast (waffles (with addons), sausages, juice, muffins, cereals, milk, apple, orange, coffee, tea, hot water).
Clean, good wifi in building B (sorry, i didn't check another buildings)
We asked to change the room(due to noise above us), no issues, 10 minutes and we are in another room.
Denny's in 1minute walk for dinner.
I TRAVEL RARELY DUE TO A BACK ISSUE WHEN SLEEPING ON FIRM MATTRESSES. I WAS VERY WORRIED ABOUT MY STAY THERE AS I TYPICALLY DONT SLEEP- HOWEVER THE BED WAS NOT AS FIRM AS OTHER HOTELS IN THE AREA THAT IVE STAYED AT- SO THANKFULLY I DIDNT SLEEP TO POORLY- STAFF WAS SUPER FRIENDLY. EVERYTHING WAS ORGANIZED WELL- ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN- I GOT A ROOM ON THE CORNER SO I HAD A HUGE BALCONY TO MYSELF. OVERALL VERY PLEASED.
The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. Sad to find out balcony rooms can only be booked directly with the hotel. Booking.com does not provide such as an option. Pictures in their web site was misleading. Otherwise, it was a great stay at a historical hotel right in downtown Jackson. Can check out the stores without driving. Restaurants are good too.
We stayed at the Jackson Rancheria to attend a family gathering and the location was convenient for our event. The hotel lobby was clean and the employees were friendly. There was plenty of close parking and even when the parking directly in front was filled, there is a nearby overflow lot. There is a nice pool/hot tub area with tables for socializing.
No trouble finding it but didn't know until after check-in that parking is in a structure behind hotel and there's an agreement with the city to use. Quaint old-style hotel has lots of charm. That extends to the room, which was smaller than expected and more like the size of a typical Euro hotel room. The WiFi might have been the fastest I've ever used.
Overall, we had a good stay there. We didn't get to walk around Jackson very much. However, it would be a great place to stay if we had a few hours to visit some of the downtown area stores. Easy parking in the parking lot behind the hotel.
This is a average little Mom and Pop hotel. I liked the view to the backyard pasture area, at the time of our visit surprisingly, it was very green. Obviously dated but everything worked. The shower pressure was excellent!
Old, charming hotel right in the town center. There is available parking near the building. Room was ok and it was clean. Breakfast was ok as well, and there was some variety (yoghurt, bread, bagel, granola).
The location is absolutely amazing such a beautiful area close to places to grocery shop and eat and very close to Jackson Rancheria they are also doing a modified hot breakfast to go which was really nice
The entire experience met expectations. Parking for the hotel was great. Room was spacious for 2 people. Loved the step in shower. Room temperature was comfortable.
