The staff is always great. Owner is putting a lot into renovations. It’s what you expect in Lompoc, but it’s generally quiet and uneventful here.

The location was central to the area and the beds were comfortable.
Lompoc was fine, but the hotel was horrible. The reply they gave to my negative review was insulting and untrue. If I hadn't had every minute committed to doing things, I would have found and gone to another hotel.
The "manager" was rude and didn't care about meeting my needs at all. What a jerk.

The weather is always a perfect mid 70's and perfect for walking the beach trails. With several local eateries you can choose from local wineries to a corner taco truck. If your interested in spending some time at the local casino or visiting the Solvang Village they are both a close distance away.

We went to the Return to Freedom ranch for a tour, specifically to see the horse that was used as a model for the animated film "SPIRIT" We meet Spirit and many other horses and donkeys/mules they have rescued and given a better life. It is beautiful and a great experience.
We also visited the Monastery in Lompac which was excellent. We had not planned that excursion but arrived too early to check in our room and needed to waste an hour before a room was available. We spent close to 2 hours at the Monastery. It was Great.

We used to love Lompoc, but now our favorite stores are closed. The South Side Cafe is still there but so busy now you have to wait on line. We are happy for them, but it makes us nervous since the mask mandate has lifted so we didn't go in. The whole town seems depressed and nearly every downtown business is an alcohol based establishment. We won't be back.

I really like the moderate temperatures in Lompoc, as well as its proximity to the beach. Solvang, a sweet Danish tourist town, is about 20 minutes from Lompoc, and other nice places are not far away either. For example, Santa Barbara is just an hour away. We explored the mission in Santa Barbara, as well as the La Purisimo Mission in Lompoc itself. We enjoyed Lompoc's quaint downtown with its small-town coffee shops, and it was fun to walk Lompoc's sidewalks, observing the beautiful murals on the buildings. Lompoc has several hotels, and many stores for shopping like Marshalls, Walmart, and CVS. It's a small town with big city conveniences. We stopped at Dutch Brothers, and we picked up some deals at Grocery Outlet. We ate at a local Italian restaurant on H Street that served delicious entrees, and friendly service. We were able to drive to a spot just ten minutes or so from downtown and watch a Space-X launch! Very exciting! I would go to Lompoc again!
Large room with full size leather recliner and sitting area. Bed was very comfy. Bathroom large. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful cooked to order breakfast. We had omelets with pancakes and potatoes which was good. We also ate dinner at the Bistro. Chicken marsala with veggies and mash potatoes was awesome. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. The 2 free bar drinks were nice. Will definitely stay again. This is a family owned hotel which we love to support the little guy.
This is a great hotel, really lovely welcome on arrival with complimentary tea and coffee. Lovely spacious clean room. Beautiful swimming pool and hot tub with lovely tubs of flowers round. The evening meal was an unexpected bonus. Really lovely staff, great food, 2 vouchers each provided for drinks - we had 2 lovely margaritas each. Lovely singer guitarist playing during our meal. Really good breakfast the following morning - perfect stop over on our Californian road trip.
I absolutely love "Lotus of Lompoc!" This is the perfect hotel for the budget it can afford to the proximity of things like dining, wine'ing, and perfect for its location to freeways and highways that offer a minutes drive to get to nearby famous attractions.
A native and tourist favorite! Close to the lovely Solvang and Buellton and a hop, skip, and a jump away from the counties best attraction, The Chumash Casino!
Very clean, nice comforter and bedspread- not what we were expecting from a budget hotel. Two tables & 3 chairs that were comfortable- nothing fancy but 2 w/padded seat and armrests. Clean and complementary manufactured board floors. Color scheme pleasant. Rust on top rear corner of bathtub but nice shower. Creative area for hanging clothes.
An amazing place. So refreshing to stay at a hotel that welcomes you so well. This is a family run hotel and you can tell. All staff were amazing, from the minute we arrived at reception, to fantastic staff in the bar area. 'Chipps' was so welcoming and a lovely lady. This hotel is amazing and I will be coming back for sure.
The hotel was very easily accessible and close to everything. It was very clean and the staff were very nice. Pool looked clean and well kept and people were enjoying the hot tub which was nice to see. We didn’t partake in breakfast but it looked really good.
After reading many reviews on neighboring hotels, decided to rent here even though it is a 3* hotel. It was actually very nice; comfortable beds, not dingy, friendly staff. Didn’t do breakfast so can’t speak on that behalf.
The hotel has a good location within the Santa Ynez Valley and the city of Lompoc. The place is decent for a short stay. The room was spacious and equipped with a small fridge, microwave, and other amenities.
