The main issue that I had was with booking.com. We reserved a queen suite because I have a teenage boy and girl and needed an extra bed. When we checked in we were informed that the booking came from booking.com as a double queen room. Of course being a busy weekend there was no suites available. The hotel doesn't do rollaway or cots, so my daughter slept on the floor for 3 days. We asked for extra blankets to make it more comfortable for her and we got 1 blanket and 1 sheet. We also could not get towels for our room. There were only 2 towels in the room and four of us staying in there but everytime we went down to the front desk to ask for towels the evening clerk told us she didn't have anymore, so we shared 2 towels for 3 days. Breakfast was good and the day desk clerk was kind but we were out most of the days and mostly dealt with the evening clerk who seemed inconvenienced whenever we needed something, she was usually out smoking and you would have to walk outside to get her when you needed her. The kids enjoyed the pool but the patio chairs outside need replaced most of them are damaged. We have stayed at this hotel for the last 4 years when we go for renaissance festival and have always had a good experience at the hotel until this year. It was mostly clean and had some good points but this year the bad definitely outweighed the good.

The room was clean. The water temperature and pressure in the shower was great. The room was quiet. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. The air conditioner worked really well. It is located close to several different food choices.

I will never go back to that place, The only thing that was good about that place, was smack that restaurant the rest of the town should probably get knocked down and rebuild. People aren't friendly it was very little people that would speak if you say high even the black people look at other blacks like you don't belong there. I didn't feel comfortable at all was supposed to stay 3 days only stayed a day in a half and just left I'd pass straight through the town ghetto and rude town. Even the Manger at my hotel was rude when my rooms weren't up to standard and code. I'm never going back to that town again

I used GPS to go get coffee in the morning at McDonald’s & I sat for 45 minutes waiting for a train… finally managed to backup & turn around which was difficult withe all the other traffic. Finally after trying to find a different route that would take me over the tracks, it took me 1 1/2 hours to go get coffee & my husband was so angry by the time I got back that he was ready to leave and go home from our trip😠 He finally calmed down after I explained about the train. We left our motel& the train was still blocking the tracks for block after block when we went by. It wasn’t even moving. This might be ok for people who know their way around the town but for visitors, it was almost a deal breaker. We went & bought take out at the China King Buffet & without a doubt it was the best food we ever had a a China Buffet restaurant 😋

Muskogee had restaurants, gas stations, shopping, drug stores, everything needed nearby and easy to get to while traveling . We were there for a family gathering, but if needed, close to historical places of interest and or within an Joy’s drive.

I grew up there.
I grew up there. Good to see old familiar places and new ones too. Still has that old homey feeling even though lots of run down houses and buildings. The city not doing enough to manage and maintain the properties there.. Traditional Honor Heights is still beautiful but houses are old and in need of up keep to maintain the reputation of that area. Drove in from Dallas for a Mom's day celebration. Enjoyed the fellowship of family and childhood friends...... stayed at a different location with much better accommodations and attention to detail than the previously mentioned hotel.

Nice to come back home and stay in a nice clean hotel, always Holiday Inn Express. Visitors should be aware Highway 69 is very busy especially with truckers so traffic delays. When visiting I always go to Hamlins El Toro for chips and the white and red sauce dips, Meat and cheese nachos with jalapeños and My Place for BBQ. Lots of good folks in Muskogee Oklahoma USA!
The room was beautiful. The TV was clear and bigger than expected for the room. They provided pumps of Dial body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower as well as hand soap by the sink. The staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. The fridge and a/c were excellent. there was more offered for breakfast than other hotels I’ve stayed at recently(ie cereal and yogurt)
I stayed at the hotel just for overnight but I can see the hotel was spotless, very clean room.. bed, bathroom fittings, carpet.. everything looked new and spotless.. the hot breakfast was good too.. special mention about the very responsive and friendly staff..
Break during the week was better than typical select service hotels. Food was fresh. The room was large and convenient to the lobby and fitness center. Housekeeper replaced towels upon request, even though they were not cleaning stay overs
Cheap and newly remodeled rooms at fair price ? I will stay there again and highly recommend everyone looking for accommodations in Muskogee Oklahoma don't hesitate just book.
The rooms were really clean. Great location. We were there for Jeep Jam 2023. I’d love to stay her again. This was our first time to stay at the Muskogee Hampton Inn.
The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The hotel is well kept and very clean. The breakfast was great and had a variety of food to choose from.
