The breakfast was descent. I thought a vending machine was on site. There was a store at the entrance of the hotel, so it was ok for no vending machine inside the hotel

The staff were great. We really appreciated Blue, who worked in the lobby lounge. Blue has the gift of hospitality! She treated us like royalty. What a great employee. The men at the door were always helpful. They always opened the door for me.

We (adult and 2 teenage children) stayed in a King Suite for the 3-day holiday weekend. The kitchen was immaculate and had everything we needed. The suite was lovely, clean and very comfortable for any of our needs (sleeping, relaxing, etc.) Breakfast buffet had something for everyone in our party. EVERY single member of the staff was friendly, polite, helpful, professional. EVERY single one. They all treated us as though we were old friends, happy to see us... even though this was our first visit. The location was perfectly convenient for all of our sightseeing plans. We were able to walk everywhere a fairly short distance to visit museums or see the monuments or just hang out on the Capital lawn for a concert. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a visit to our nation's capitol.
