This is my second time here, Unique night club is so sick! One of the best times we’ve had in Mexico! Do yourself a favor, after all the resort amenities and amazing food, get to unique night club, the DJs are sick and it is seriously some of the best dancing we’ve had in Mexico! Ask for Maria, and Rafael, they will take care of you so well!

We went to the Grand at Moon Palace for a multi-generation family trip (11 of us including grandparents, parents, and kids ages 5 through 12). Overall a great trip -- we have done other all inclusives and I think we all agree that this was our best for our group (comparing to Beaches Turks and Caicos, and Paradisus Palma Real).
The Good: The food was fantastic. By far the best we have had at an all inclusive. Less surprising that the Mexican food (we at ate Los Tacos and La Cantina) was incredible, but so was Habibi. Some of our party loved Jade, others were less impressed. We had some good food at the Grill but some was disappointing and the service was slow. The Library (speakeasy bar) was a cool bonus. We had some lunches and breakfasts at the Cusco buffet which was fabulous. The Boulangerie was great for desserts. Overall, far better food than we have ever had at an all inclusive.
Although the hotel was full, we never had trouble finding chairs at any pools. Usually this is my pet peeve at a resort, and we had no issues. Never really felt crowded even though they were at capacity. Similarly, the water park never had any waits for slides. Sometimes had to wait for the Flow Rider, but that was never really an issue. And even with our large group, we didn't have trouble getting tables at dinner.
We mostly walked places, but found the golf carts easy to access when we wanted them.
Tons of activities around the resort to keep all of us busy. We did some of the pool activities during the day, spent time at the water park, and the kids used the kids play area and wired lounge. The play area offered a ton of fun activities for the kids. We also did family bowling one evening, which was great. Notable, though, is that for most of the play area only kids 8 and up can be dropped off. There is a smaller supervised area upstairs for younger kids to be dropped off, but they can't use the rest of the play area without parent supervision.
Really quick drive to the airport, so getting to and from the resort was really easy.
We were there during the Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds concert, though we weren't there FOR the event. It was really cool to sit at the pool at night listening to the music even though we weren't at the concert. Felt like a cool bonus.
The Negatives: The beach is pretty disappointing, though probably typical for Cancun.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. On 2 days our room hadn't been cleaned by 5:00. The second time it happened, when they finally did come (after we called to request that they come while we were at dinner) they basically just made the bed -- no clean towels and they didn't clear the morning's breakfast tray.
The ground at the water park was incredibly slippery -- pretty much everyone in our family slipped and fell at least once, and we watched many others do the same (even when walking cautiously). They absolutely need to change the surface of the ground there. I am sure people have been seriously injured just based on the falls we saw while we were there.
It's a little crazy that the height cut off for some of the slides was 5' 3". It's clearly because you need to be heavy enough (if you're too light you'd get stuck at parts) and I appreciated not needing to confirm my weight, but the height requirement seemed overly restrictive considering many adult women are less than 5' 3".
The resort credit is pretty much BS. It's useful for limited spa services but that's about it. If you go in thinking that you will be able to use the whole resort credit for things that you are interested in doing, you will be disappointed.
The lobby area and many of the indoor areas are beautiful, but the landscaping and look of the resort isn't quite as beautifully manicured and landscaped as other resorts we have been to, though still pretty.
Overall, a great trip and we would strongly consider going back for our next big family trip.

Our room was quite spacious, and although not perfect when we arrived, the Palace concierge and butlers were quick to solve all of our issues. The food and service was excellent throughout the resort. Only two concerns: The beach had been set up for a musical concert and was unavailable for us during our stay - we had to walk down to the Nizuc Beach to make use of the beach, and the driving range at the golf course was being used by a soccer team, which made it unavailable on a few occasions. Golf is one of my favourite past times while at Moon Palace, so it was disappointing. We love going to Moon Palace and despite the two issues, we will continue to go back because it is such a wonderful place to vacation. The restaurants and the spa are marvelous. The staff are without exception extremely friendly and helpful. They will go way out of their way to make you happy and get you what you need. There are many, many activities for adults and children, which are creative and loads of fun. Overall a fantastic place to take a vacation, either as a couple or a family.

Very nice hotel close to the attractions, the food was excellent especially the Lebanase, the Japanese , the Mexican restaurants. The grand buffet was also super good. The room was big , nice, clean. Nice big bathroom for two. Big beautiful spa with a pool . The only thing that I did not like was that the sales people got a little mad when we told them that we were not interested in going on a sales morning with them. Otherwise we had a blast . O yes the entertainment shows were also very good.
