Our favorite spot was The Promenade boutique shopping center...

Our favorite spot was The Promenade boutique shopping center which had not only cozy shops but deli's and restaurants and live bands in the evening. Not far from Estero is an incredible grocery store called Seed To Table. We always make it a point to go there. It is like nothing I have ever seen before with lots of fresh produce artfully displayed, restaurants and pubs upstairs and a whole host of food items that a regular grocery store would never carry - or probably would not even know about.

The room was large and comfortable.

The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. There were a lot of options. I really liked the fresh fruit and coffee. The pool and hot tub looked great, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use them.

Estero island has two state parks that are beautiful.

Estero island has two state parks that are beautiful. Get there early for good parking. Estero island beaches are small and crowded. Various hotels and condos claim most of the beach for themselves. Parking can be hard if you are not there before 9:00 a.m. Forget an easy drive over the bridge to the beach if you do not get there before 9:00 a.m.

No matter what time I left my room, it was clean when I came...

No matter what time I left my room, it was clean when I came back. It was like the housekeeping staff hid until I left, then came out in force to clean while I was out. The desk staff never failed to speak to me when I was in the lobby. The ladies in the food area were very helpful and never made me feel akward because I did not know how to use one of their machines.

Estero was a beautiful and quiet area.

Estero was a beautiful and quiet area. It provides many options for things to do for adults and families. It has several shopping venues and provides plenty of places to dine out or shop for food. The area is great for people looking for vegan foods. The area only has a few main roads that run through it, so traffic can get quite congested.

for me the hotel is perfect, the staff are wonderful. but I arrived and went for a walk I returned late at night and there was a smell like a pit, I slept that night but interrupted my reservation the next day the photo was the reason for my poop coming out of the base of the toylet. But I would return I know that like me the hotel did not notice. good location and wonderful people. ah forget that good trout are caught in the canal next door. Thanks again. of the hotel

Hidden gem in Florida, if you’re looking for a space to relax and unwind, this is definitely the place. Gorgeous surroundings, full of gardens and flowers, as for our pyramid, it was spacious, comfortable and clean. The lake it’s the cherry on top, water is amazing and perfect after a day at the beach! This place is perfect for family getaways and even for romantic getaways. Without hesitation will plan our next trip.

We did like the pool and the bar area was nice. The employees at the front desk were very helpful and courteous and Melissa the bartender went out of her way to make us feel comfortable whenever we stop there at the bar.She is an asset to that hotel and should be commended ;a very hard worker, running food tending bar and waiting on people as if it was her own.

No daily servicing of room unless you ask prior to 11am each day. Very surprised on 2nd night when we had to evacuate the hotel due to fire alarm going off that not one member of staff was outside checking all guests were out and located a safely away from the building. We were all allowed to gather by front doors and could see staff inside.

We love this hotel. Stayed in an apartment which was lovely. More space than the hotel which was ideal for our need. The gentleman in the hotel coffee shop is lovely. Recognised him from our previous visits. Always happy Why are reception staff not in a uniform. They looked a bit scruffy. Sorry. Reception staff need to be uniformed

Overall ok, but needs renovating (especially outside pool/springs area). It also had a bit of a weird smell outside and inside (maybe from the springs?). Noisy at night because popular Tiki bar right by the hotel. Motorcycles in and out until 2am. I thought the room rate (~$160 per night over Xmas weekend) was a bit high for this hotel.
