In a conversation after our stay, Julia, the manager, stated that the property is under new ownership and they are renovating it. There were definite improvements in the unit we stayed. For example, the bathroom was newly done; the ceiling fan and comfortable mattress were a plus in the bedroom; in the kitchen we found a full, spacious refrigerator and a microwave. The noise from the traffic over a bridge nearby and current air conditioning unit in the bedroom might bother some but not all guests. Finally, the manager also said she was willing to accommodated our needs and would have upgraded us had we requested it. So, it looks like they are going in the right direction to provide a good stay for guests.

A hidden gem in need of modernisation with staff that on duty when you arrive and leave within the published opening hours Room clean but in need of updates and repairs Great barbacue but cigarette buts everywhere Could be a great hotel with updates Restaurant on site and restaurant opposite over bridge but we barbacue d dinner and breakfast Only other complaint road noise from road bridge but fresh air and traveling made us very tired Great place to stay if out on boat
