The breakfast was very disappointing - especially for $200/night. The food was absolutely horrible. Very few items, precooked, oily eggs, toaster was broken, only Fruit Loops cereal. No hard boiled eggs. The sausage was good. The coffee wasn't even in the same room with breakfast.

    The Hillside Boutique hotel delivers beyond all expectations, especially for the price range. The rooms are very well appointed. The food in the restaurant is every foodie's dream. The staff are well trained and wonderful, ready to fix any issues or provide anything needed. I love this place and will choose it whenever I'm in the area. It's amazing!

    We really like the German/Alsatian feel of this bucolic...

    We really like the German/Alsatian feel of this bucolic little town. Haby’s Bakery is really yummy and Sammy’a Restaurant provides you with the local color. We loved overhearing the farmers and ranchers talk about their cows and deer instead of “city” issues. We were only there for a very short time, but I’m sure there are restaurants and antique shops to be explored. The Landmark Inn is a must for any visitor to Castroville.
