We only stayed in Thibodaux because it was well located for our trip exploring the swamp areas south of New Orleans. Also, photographs of the old town looked interesting, although it turned out to be disappointing as nothing was open in the early evening.

It is close enough to the center of town and much of the attractions without you getting stuck in traffic. The room was clean and easy to maintain. The shower was amazing! Plenty of hot water and the best water pressure I've ever had at a hotel. Loved the shower head as it had a few settings and all of them maintained the same water pressure. Office staff were very friendly and eager to help.
