We liked the convenience to Tallahassee, where our family activities were. We liked the selection of good seafood restaurants in the area. We liked that the area is quiet, no big rushing traffic like in Tallahassee.

It was a very short stay, but what I can say for sure is they do not have full service kitchens open late, except for fast food. We had to go to Winn Dixie to get some food and bring it to the hotel. If you are planning to travel late and prefer healthier food options, plan accordingly.
The location was very peaceful and the hotel had a wonderful old fashioned feel to it. There were walking and biking trails on site and the highlight was the boat tour with an entertaining and informative commentary by Colin the park ranger. We had lunch and dinner in the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed both.
The room was larger than a typical hotel room, hard floors which we like, and we were not disappointed at the level of cleanliness. We didn't find anything that we had to clean our selves before using, which nowadays is unusual and we're not clean freaks or germaphobes (just don't like to be grossed out).
The breakfast was great! The best we've ever had at a hotel. I especially liked the little omelets. The location was close to Tallahassee but not many restaurants near the hotel, I loved the gazebo. We could enjoy sitting outside. We had a nice picture window that looked out on the wooded scenery.
The hotel really exceeded our expectations. It was super clean, smelled fresh, the room was spacious and cozy. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, links and biscuit and all other regular breakfast items. We will be happy to stay there again when we are in the area.
Rooms are smelly (I tried 2 different ones). I believe that they don’t maintain AC continuously, and this being Florida, the mold/mildew smell can get really bad. They did place a dehumidifier in the room, which helped.
Stylish, classic hotel in a beautiful natural setting. Comfortable room. Facing the springs, great place for a swim in clean water in a superb environment. We saw a manatee in the pool aera both times.
The close location to St. Marks and Panacea was great. Gave us lots of places to go and find launching points for the boat plus there was a side lot for dropping the trailer which was very helpful.
Very nice, modern hotel with good facilities, including an outdoor pool. A seafood restaurant was nearby as was a walking trail. There were plenty of breakfast options. Staff was quite courteous.
Clean and tidy hotel, although more like a motel with a courtyard. Easy to find and good parking. I liked the breakfast. There is an amazing bbq smokehouse about 3 minutes drive down the road.
We loved the rustic “old Florida” feel of the place-
the lobby, rooms, soda fountain counter and the elevator. beautiful setting, and the boat ride was amazing! The park rangers were awesome!
Breakfast was delicious but the room was very average. I don't see how they can charge $160 per night at this hotel. Definitely not worth it. What I paid was over-priced as well
A unique period hotel in an interesting setting within the state park. I was able to watch manatees bobbing their heads out of the water as I sat at breakfast.
Good clean hotel, located on main road, bed was good. like being able to open window. glad there was more than the usual number of coffee packs in room
It was secluded in the forest and located on Wakulla Springs. It had a real old fashioned classy vibe. The food in the restaurant was also really good!
