Only one wash cloth, no ice machine on second floor, ice machine on first floor was broken, no plastic glasses in room, no coffee maker in room, only one bar of soap, shower valve handle fell off, tile floor was sticky in bathroom, shower floor very slippy & no mat or grab bar, breakfast food was tepid at best, only one form of protein (rubbery eggs that looked “fried”), “we out” (not “sorry, but WE’RE out right now”) when asked for jelly, lobby was hot (receptionist had a fan behind the front desk, only about 6 vehicles in lot yet our room was the farthest away on the second floor (after asking for first floor), property did not look inviting or attractive …

We drove from Atlanta so at the end of a long tiring day we came to a very comfortable, quite and clean home. The interior is so simple and elegant. Relaxed and slept well. The location for us was perfect.
The location for us was perfect. We were there to visit family 2 miles away. Clean and comfortable. I would have liked to have more than 4 glasses and 4 sets of silverware. We had to constantly wash dishes. We had to call for dish towels and something to wash the dishes with. Could have just been an oversight. They could definitely look up at those ceiling fans though. I had to clean them because they were filthy. Some chairs to sit outside would be nice as well. Overall it was nice quiet and comfortable. Hammond is a great place to visit.
Hammond is a great place to visit. It is a LSU campus and has a lively downtown. Younger people who have traveled there with us before said it had the best food of all the places they have been. Many wonderful choices in the downtown area. A relaxing place to visit.Juley - 10Scored 10
Privacy, quiet and peaceful.
Privacy, quiet and peaceful. It’s more like an apartment right outside city limits. A true homely environment from pulling up two minutes from the interstate. To the two bathroom luxury. It’s a well maintained property that I will visit often!

You'd pay this much for a hotel room, but at Villa 6 you get an entire apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths (1 with shower , 1 with shower and large soaking tub), a kitchen , a living room, a laundry room, and a private patio. Not to mention dishes, cooking utensils, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, dryer, ice maker, roku tvs, and its DOG FRIENDLY! The last time was during the pandemic and the stay was not as pleasant as previously though still fine. I'm happy to report that the hotel is back up to scratch and making improvements. They were installing new carpet while I was there. The breakfast buffet is a full hot breakfast bar. Everything is clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet, the bed comfortable, the water hot.
