Breakfast was good. I do believe one waffle maker is not enough for all guesses a it takes time to cook with only one.
Located off Interstate 10, the Red Roof Inn Crestview is 5 minutes’ drive from Eglin Air Force Base. Guests will enjoy free WiFi in all rooms and coffee is offered in the morning.

When I showed up to check in, I was met at the door by the friendliest front desk person I have ever met. I'd been on the road for 8 hours that day and it was really nice to be greeted with a smile and by someone who seemed genuinely happy to be helping me. Check-in was quick and simple, and policies were explained clearly. Front desk when I was checking out was just as great. She was so funny and nice. I travel to Florida a couple of times a year to visit family, usually stopping somewhere random for the night when I get tired of driving, but this is a good halfway point and will be where I stay when I am out this way from now on.

We spent most of our time between the hotel and the local community center during this trip, as we were in the area for a event with our daughters
We did spend time visiting a few shops and local restaurants. Every area we visited was nice and the people in the area were all friendly.
Ruffly a hour from the nearest beach access but very easy to find and get to.

The rooms were clean and spacious.
The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very courteous and efficient. The only detrimental thing that I could say is that the breakfast was so popular with guests that the staff was very hard pressed to keep enough food ready for the guests who wanted to eat.

Absolutely no problems. Staff was very helpful and polite.
Absolutely no problems. Staff was very helpful and polite. The room was very clean. Everything worked. Breakfast was better than most other hotels we have recently stayed at. If in the area again we would stay again.

The location is close to the military bases, yet not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Ft Walton Beach. It was a little hard to access the hotel due to heavy traffic on the highway, a traffic light would have been helpful. Lots of eating establishments within short driving distances. In-house breakfast was good.

I loved the location.
I loved the location. I dislike the fact wearing mask and social distancing was not enforced. I dislike the fact the facility ran out of towels and food. I dislike the fact that my room was dirty upon check-in so I vacuum, cleaned, and change the sheets myself.

I didn't stay 10 minutes. The manager was rude and racist.
I didn't stay 10 minutes. The manager was rude and racist. The taxi driver told us that the call Crestview Crest-tucky! I asked him why and he said because it's a Red neck's town just like Kentucky. We laughed because a white taxi driver told us that. And I had that experience in person while at this hotel.
Ease of access to the hotel, room was large, bed was comfortable with a memory foam mattress, room was clean. The hotel was being upgraded and there was alot of construction debris in the parking lot but I'm sure that will improve with time. The manager and staff were friendly.
Its a nice place, comfortable, slightly different than other generic hotels. Its perfectly positioned near Pensacola in a nice city called Crestview. Basically, it had all the right comforts, at a decent value, without being as generic as its competitors.
The room was clean and the staff was nice. We came here from another hotel in Crestview to escape a big mold problem and it was pleasant to see a clean room. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The staff at the SanDestin Quality Inn, while we stayed there, were nothing
but the very best. That staff will keep guests wanting to come back.
The hotel itself, was very clean.
It wasn’t breakfast. This was the only disappointing aspect of this hotel. The offerings were one waffle machine, little bread for toasting and cereal (two choices). Sad!
