Burnet is an older community but provides the ability to unplug and sit watch your favorite dvd and cook a good home cooked meal. Love Burnet and its landscape and atmosphere. We have family here so there is always a way of finding the perfect spot which this is absolutely my favorite so far. Can't wait to stay again.

Very small town feel & went to the Vanishing River Cruise.

Very small town feel & went to the Vanishing River Cruise. Beautiful country and enjoyed eating at Mama's Cafe. Surprisingly a family was there playing music together and we really enjoyed that. We had other sightseeing to go do, so we didn't stay along time.

We loved our time at Painted Sky. We were looking for just a nice quiet get away and a place to do some fishing. Painted Sky did not disappoint! It is like a little piece of Heaven in Burnet County. We will definitely be back. The cabins were stocked with everything we needed, and the property is very well maintained.

Front desk was very friendly, but very ill informed about ESPN being available she was the reason we booked this hotel because we confirmed it with her ahead of time and she remembered speaking to me when I checked in.

Only hotel in town. I did appreciate that they sold food in the lobby so I didn't have to go find a place to eat.
