The best part of the trip was visiting my son who is stationed at Fort Polk. The hotel stay was awful and I would not recommend staying at the La Quinta Inn outside of the main gate. No breakfast as listed on booking.com, very dirty and smells of mold. Cockroaches in the hallways, and bathroom was moldy and poor water pressure. We spent most of the time outside the hotel. No housekeeping and had to call the front desk for more towels and trash removal. I tried to change room and no rooms were available. The hotel smelled of mold the minute you walk into the door. I called around to other hotels in the area and they were not available for my 5 day stay. I went to the local walmart and purchased my own cleaning supplies and cleaned the room the best I could. The smell of mold got better and we made the best out of a bad situation. I'm shocked the Booking.com would even offer this hotel on their site. I don't think in the future I will be using your site for future bookings. I honestly can say I never had an issue with a hotel on this site.

Getting around in Leesville was really easy. We were there for a funeral, so our stay was quite brief, but extremely comfortable. All staff that we came in contact with were very friendly and extremely helpful..

Typical Army Base Town, Small Limited Dining Options. Great Do-Nut Shop on North End of Town. Lake Charles is 60 Miles South, Alexandria is 45 Miles NE. On a Previuos Trip Wagon Master Steakhouse Was a Good Eat in Leesville, But Was Closed For Christmas Eve And Christmas Day as They Should Be
