My Husband and I drove into the city of Monroeville to atten my GrandMothers homegoing service. We decided to stay at the Best Western Hotel which was very clean. The city is very quiet and I loved It the entire country living.

The room and accommodation was horrible.
The room and accommodation was horrible. Never will we stay there again. How can you make up a bed and leave a balled up wash cloth under the fitted sheet and not notice a half a ball under the made up bed. You notice and do nothing as a maid. Made me feel like the entire room was dirty. The refrigerator looked like it hadn’t been washed in a month.

This is Alabana.
This is Alabana. If you run into an unfriendly person you’re not in Alabama. The food at nearby restaurant was serviceable and basic. Good. We attended the “To Kill A Mockingbird” play. Good value and a fine production. Actors are not professional but quite good for amateurs.

Loved the play.
Loved the play. Charming people but a much smaller town than I expected. We arrived on a Saturday after 2:00pm and all the restaurants were closed from 2:00pm to 5:00pm leaving only fast food or Huddle House. But enjoyed the town.

When we got there they had all my stuff ready- keys, invoice, etc. We were so tired and this was so kind! We loved the room; it had a fan which is awesome! Would definitely stay again!
