Our casita could have used some help. The bed was extremely uncomfortable & towels were so so
for the price of the room. It was spacious which was nice.

This is a small town located in a beautiful area with great shops. The vibe is low key and relaxed. The Stables restaurant has great food. Located on the golf course it was a bit pricey for dinner. At night there are not many street lights so plan accordingly.

We enjoy galleries and craft shops and they are marvelous. We also enjoyed the history of the Presidio. We dined at Elvira (you had better get reservations) and we enjoyed it immensely. The Country Shop is especially amazing for its variety of crafts. The public rest room facility leaves a lot to be desired for women.

Loved the location. It's a wonderful place to walk.
Loved the location. It's a wonderful place to walk. The Resort has lots of amenities like golf and a golf shop, a spa, a nice restaurant. I did the walk from the Tubac Presidio to the Tumacacori Mission, a wonderful Christmas Day outing.

Because of the Covid 19 virus, many of the shops and galleries were closed. However, Tubac is normally a terrific place to visit, explore and enjoy. It is conveniently located for visits to Tucson, Nogales, Mexico and Patagonia.
The location is perfect for me--close to shopping, food, and the de Anza Trail. Kelley and Nancy are fabulous hosts. Upon arrival, Kelley set up a bed for my granddaughter because it would be more comfortable than the sofa sleeper. He also hunted down firmer pillows for us. On Saturday, my tire pressure warning light came on. I texted Kelley to see if there was a place where I could get air nearby. He said he'd come in the morning with a compresser to fill them all. You don't get that kind of service at the Holliday Inn!
Beautifully decorated townhouse with local artist flare such as Diana Madera paintings. Wonderful mountain views from your own private second story covered patio. Located within a two minute to the pool and hot tub. Nice resident neighbors and easy parking nearby. Convenient location, just a mile away from town center of Tubac for meals and shopping. Nannette the host contact was very responsive with any questions or requests. I look forward to staying there again If I'm traveling through the area in the future!
The Casa Paloma was gracious and private, in a lovely setting. The accommodations were stellar, nearly every need anticipated. But the best was the owners, Ray and Katie. They were friendly and helpful and interesting to talk with. They were willing to alter breakfast plans for me at the last minute and made us feel at home. I would recommend Casa Paloma to anyone looking for a retreat south of Tucson.
Tubac is a charming little town in southern Arizona.
The property is lovely, with a private living room and kitchenette for the three rooms available.
Very quiet. The owners are very thoughtful and provide everything you could possibly need.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
A wonderful place to relax!
Beautiful property. We had massages and were very happy with them. Ate breakfast and dinner in their restaurant and it was good food. Staff were attentive and even when they’re busy, our meals came out quickly. Had lots of fun shopping in Tubac. Would definitely stay here again if we return.
Welcoming, spotless and cozy. Terrific breakfast brought to the door at 8, with soft scrambled egg, bacon and potato burrito, guacamole, frijoles, and avacado smoothie. Attentive to the details of what makes a bed away from home comfortable. A brilliant surprise in Tubac.
I will rarely write a review for travel destinations but Rancho Santa Cruz is a very unique property. Lots of care and attention will go into your stay. Beautiful setting, relaxing and close enough to Tubac to do shopping, golf.
Would stay again and highly recommend.
A serene setting with beautiful traditional southwest architecture and a cheerfully attentive staff. The golf, dining and spa facilities are all top notch, and though a world away, it’s close to the delightful artist village of Tubac. A grand escape.
