Refrigerator and telephone did not work at all. The tv had no remote and kept switching from HDMI to settings mode. Towels were dingy and some looked as if they hadn’t been washed. The chain on the toilet was broken and would not flush. The clerk was told about all of these problems and he advised maintenance wouldn’t be in to fix anything until the next day. Maintenance never did come and nobody followed up with our problems. So my husband fixed the toilet and the tv in order for us to sleep 2 nights there. We requested a new room and was told no more rooms were available to even move into. If they’d have at least placed some effort into fixing the toilet, along with the general up keep and maintenance of the room and it’s appliances and facilities I would’ve been ok but I draw the line at having to fix your own toilet!

The hotels were nice. The stores were nice but not too many.
The hotels were nice. The stores were nice but not too many. Nice fast food restaurants but few sit down restaurants. IHOP and Sizzlin steak has gone out of business. There is no starbucks or zaxbys. There is a hospital. Overall it is a nice city to visit.

Where I was not impressed with the Holiday Inn Express hotel...
Where I was not impressed with the Holiday Inn Express hotel, downtown Laurel made up for my dissatisfaction. There were so many fun shops and vendors out, it was a beautiful weekend to walk along the streets and view historic downtown Laurel. We will definitely be back, just not staying at the same hotel!

we came for the small Hometown and driving in realized there were 7 EXITS!!!!! Not so small of a town...lol! Loved the historic area even though the roads were under construction. Ben and Erin and their SMALL town were what bought us here...not what we expected. But we still enjoyed ourselves.

Laurel's downtown is undergoing complete revitalization.
Laurel's downtown is undergoing complete revitalization. The murals and stores are very nice. We ate at Phillips Drive Inn and The Bird Dog restaurant ( great food and staff ). Both were great experiences and all the people were supper nice and helpful. If we'd had longer we would have tried Pearl's Diner. The Napier's have done a wonderful job of bringing tourist back and putting Laurel back on the map.

I truly enjoyed the Christmas parade but parking for handicap is terrible. We have to walk too far. If they had the trolley car or go carts it would be so much better for the elderly and the handicapped.
this is the worse hotel ever , the blankets were dirty and we asked for a new set and the lady in the receptionist told us she can’t do anything about it because she doesn’t have a conteo in the laundry, so we were told we have to deal with it, and si have my baby with me I literally have to used a blanket I brought her to put it on top, because their blanket have vellus hair and stink,
Our room was perfect for our short stay in Laurel … the staff was very friendly and our room was clean and we didn’t even have to ask for new towels !!!! We will recommend staying at your hotel to others !!!
Nothing, thought I could trust Wyndham to be at least a clean hotel, but this place was a pig sty. Dirty, not even close to being acceptable for staying 2 nights. I had go get a different hotel.
My room was never ready, I had to find another hotel. Front desk said cleaning staff was short handed and by 6pm my room still wasn’t ready so I went to another hotel!
