Wilcox is just a stop on I 10, not really a tourist...

Wilcox is just a stop on I 10, not really a tourist destination (although there may be some off-roading around there) However, it has several good gas stations and restaurants. It was a good place for us to overnight from Texas to California. Rose's motel is an inexpensive no frills motel a few blocks off of I 10 which was clean with a friendly staff.

    Cute town.

Cute town. We needed a place to stop on our way to Texas and this worked out great. We ate at the Double S Steak House. Food was really good! We stayed at the Arizona Inn and Suites with our dogs. This motel was super clean and looked recently updated. I would definitely go back!

Not much to Wilcox in itself.

Not much to Wilcox in itself. Very typical small town but it did have a Safeway grocery store and a couple of decent restaurants. We stayed in Wilcox for its central location to National parks along with other surrounding towns.

Didn't spend time in Wilcox as we just spent the night on the way from Taos to Tucson, but the drive was easy and fun, and Benson Donuts a few towns west was delicious and worth the stop if you are passing through on your way west!

If you love wine, Willcox is a great little weekend get-away. A number of wine tasting rooms are in town, and you can also go to the wineries out in the countryside. I love the little boutique, Amarillo By Morning and found cute clothing there at a reasonable price. Great coffee shop on Haskell Rd. just next to the Sunset Hotel where we stayed.

We came from Tucson specifically to see the Sandhill cranes.

We came from Tucson specifically to see the Sandhill cranes. There were between 20 and 30 THOUSAND of them! We had never experienced this before and it was wonderful! To see that many birds at one time, and especially to hear them, was unbelievable!!!

Although the hotel had lost my booking and I could not stay there, the staff were very apologetic and very helpful at finding me alternative accommodation in another nearby hotel. The manager even offered to pay for that accommodation which was a lovely gesture even though I hadn’t prepaid for the hotel and it wasn’t necessary. All was sorted out for me within 20 minutes so caused no stress to me.

Absolutely love this hotel, it's very nice, updated, super cute and cozy. My bed was beyond comfortable ! It was also very quiet, I slept amazing! I woke up too late to enjoy the breakfast but the made to order breakfast is an amazing idea. Very personal and makes you feel like you're appreciated as a guest. And my all time favorite is Macy the dog ! The friendliest cutest employee !

beds were comfortable & breakfast very good. the attendant who served the food was exceptionally cheerful & helpful. I guess with Covid the hotel really went above & beyond to keep everyone safe. we liked the easy ground floor access to our room in the back parking lot. no road noise. there was a nice size table & 2 chairs to sit around to eat or play games.

Scott was super friendly! The bed was comfy, the room was clean and staff was super nice. Would definitely recommend. It’s in a good location, super cute small town. It is pet friendly and we did bring our pup with us. There’s a 10 dollar fee for it but I would say that’s pretty standard for most places.

The hotel was great! Clean and comfortable which is all I can ask for. It’s your standard hotel, but the staff was very friendly and they had a decent breakfast spread. I know hotel breakfasts are very different due to Covid, but they still delivered. Location was pretty great too!

Breakfast was wonderful and well stocked. Hotel lobby and room were clean. Shower was great. Parked right outside our door, so loading/unloading was a breeze. Shower was good pressure/temperature. I liked the vinyl flooring vice carpeting in the room--much more sanitary.

Not a fancy hotel, but clean (something hard to find these days), enough towels and complimentary products, not broken furniture, decent breakfast… We have been to more than 15 hotels since the start of the COVID pandemic and this was the best quality/price ratio.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. It even was next to a Saturday market so that was an added bonus for our stay. Bed was comfortable, the area was quiet. We will be coming back later this summer for a longer stay and hopefully the pool will be opened.
