I went for a women's conference at Oak Cliff Bible...
I went for a women's conference at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, so I didn't explore a whole lot, but there were plenty of restaurant choices and lots of shopping in the area. It is a nice little city or suburb of Dallas.TaraUnited States of America - 4.0Scored 4.0

The hotel was so big and empty, maybe in its prime it was very nice but not now. I would not book again at this hotel nor would I recommend. I had to go downstairs for bedding for the sofa sleeper, none was offered at the time of check-in.

This hotel is in a convenient location next to restaurants...
This hotel is in a convenient location next to restaurants and other retail stores. Our room was very pleasant except for the previous room that I was in to where I was bitten by a bed bug. The room that I was moved to was very clean but the only downside was that our room would not stay cold and throughout the night the AC would turn off making the room very warm. Also the locks on the bedroom and bathrooms door could use updating because they did not work. Everything else in our room was great and the beds were comfortable, all except the pull out couches which was uncomfortable and the thin matress was dirty. I would definitely recommend not sleeping on the pullout couches. Although the rooms are definitely not as big as they look on the internet they are still very nice. Some of the other guest had the hallways reeking from the smell of weed. Not so good for those who have kids having to smell that. Desoto is a ok city the commute to everything is a bit weird it's like if you don't know exactly where the place is you have to go all the way around and do it again that's the down side but the upside is it's alot of different restaurants as well as a movie theatre etc to enjoy

I use to live here. Desoto is only 12 minutes from downtown Dallas. Desoto has the best access to I-20 and I-35, allowing quick travels anywhere in South Dallas County. Desoto many restaurants that are affordable and delicious. The people here are very friendly and are glad to welcome all visitors.HaroldUnited States of America

I only stayed for one night to go to Scarborough Faire 20 miles away (everything closer was sold out) but it was a very easy commute from Faire to here and it was a great night's sleep. It is within walking distance, like right next door across parking lot to Outback Steakhouse. This seems to be THE place people go so it was lively, service great and food good.

I kept there room in better condition than when they have to me. The manager is a jerk. The other staff was great. This location was the perfect location as it was very easily accessible and close to several restaurants. The hotel staff was courteous and professional, the hotel was clean and safe.
