Escondido has a vibrant downtown area with plenty of shopping and dining choices. One of my favorite places to dine is O'Sullivan's, an Irish pub-style restaurant with traditional Irish fare. Also plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy including hiking, tennis, pickleball, a once-a-week farmer's market, and an art gallery with many events throughout the year as well as monthly poetry readings and open mic. Public transportation is readily available, mostly buses. Also a large regional mall with numerous dining establishments on the property.AAnonymous - 2.0Scored 2.0

Escondido was a nice place to visit.
Escondido was a nice place to visit. The parks were beautiful and the weather was warm. I had an amazing massage at Zen Massage and a wonderful dinner at Maiko Sushi. The people in town were very friendly.

The pool was the best part for the kids other wise the trip would have been even more horrible. Dirty, rude, no TP, didn’t get the room I booked, homeless around area, not much parking. I would never stay there again!

1) I short my trip by one night because I can’t stay in that filthy room . 2) my toilet wash clogged by the previous tenant, I call frond desk to take care of it and no body sow up .!!! I went personally in the front desk and they hand me a plunger and tell me , do it your self because the manager wash play tennis with his wife out side of the office, and I did it !!!! 😩😩😩😭😭😭😳😳😳🙈🙈🙈MichaelangeloUnited States of America

The staff was friendly helpful and if the slightest bit of any discomfort, no matter how small, they were quite accommodating and showed us a warm abundance of hospitality. Waking up refreshed each day to friendly staff that felt more like friends and neighbors allowed for a real stress relief from our day to day lives which is why we escaped to this resort in the first place.
