Traveling from Florida to NY…I thought I booked the Santee location only to find out when I showed up that the reservation was at the Orangeburg location (40 minutes away). I tried calling booking.com and was told 3x there was an error with their system. I also tried to cancel the reservation (6pm), but was told it was too late. The hotel would approve the cancellation since I was just moving the reservation to the Santee location (only if I could have gotten in touch with booking.com, which I was unable to do). I am being charged for the Orangeburg location even though I didn’t stay there.

This motel was great! Desk workers friendly and helpful, room clean and beds comfortable. Full house and we were on ground floor, but never heard people above us. Breakfast was wonderful...plenty of choices including waffles, eggs, fruit, etc. Breakfast room good-sized. Highly recommend and will stay again going to/from Ohio/Florida!

Hard beds, Hardly seen any staff.
Hard beds, Hardly seen any staff. Rooms cleaned when asked not good practice during COVID. TV didn’t work. Once found staff second remote worked slow needed batteries they didn’t have. If battery in remote is old tells me remote not cleaned either. But place looks nice. Didn’t see breakfast at all but smelled it. Very small breakfast provided.

Carpeting furniture and bedspread stained, would not stay again as it is one of the higher priced hotels in the area but not up to our expectations as we have stayed here before and it has gone downhill.

Orangeburg was a pleasant discovery years ago on our journey from Pennsylvania to Florida. The people in the hotels and restaurants we have visited have always been lovely.
It's convenient to the interstate for travelers. The accommodations are fairly priced and it's easy to get around the area.
When we first discovered Orangeburg I asked where do the locals eat. I was directed to Antley's. The restaurant is a national treasure. Great bar-b-que and Southern cooking!

Eating places, and shopping was close to the area by car and some of them were within walking distance from the hotels. We ate at Sonic, IHOP, Burger King, and Hardees. Cracker Barrel was too long to wait for service. Fairly easy to travel around the city. I would avoid staying at the Quality Inn in Orangeburg.

A growing city with much room to improve in racial relationships though much has been done so far.
I grew up in the area and left in 1964 so have seen much positive changes. It is trying hard and have come a long way, yet much remains to be done.
The facility was in great shape. Neil Patel was an awesome host! I have stayed in other facilities around this hotel and will hands down rank this as the best for your money. The fact they are pet friendly was my initial interest. The rooms are tiled rather than carpeted. I feel this adds to their commitment to be pet friendly and stay sanitary. Coffee and breakfast are provided. Fridge and microwave in each room.
Excellent facilities. Still a fairly new property, only about 3 years old. Great staff, very accommodating. I was pulling a 7x16 concession trailer and had difficulty finding parking since other trucks and trailers were taking up 4 spaces each. I asked permission and was allowed to park along the curb right outside the front door. Hospitality at its finest. Thank you Springhill Suites Orangeburg.
This company has a lot of nerve to send me a survey about my trip when you cancelled my reservation one week before I was to arrive. I made this reservation 6-9 months prior. I had to scrounge around and look for a room at the last minute. No thanks the o you I paid for an overpriced room to prevent sleeping in my car. Thanks a lot.
The accommodations overall were very comfortable. The size of the room was great, the bathrooms were very clean. The staff was AMAZING....they answered all questions and provided awesome service! Even though it was SC State's Homecoming weekend, the hotel was relatively quiet and not "rowdy!" I love this location and this hotel.
This place is a disgusting dump, mold in the bathroom rust all over the door as it is an outside entrance, no desk clerk when we got there a sign saying back in 10 helping a guest. The Baymont in Beckley WV was just as bad so never stay in a Baymont if you can help it.
Very helpful and professional staff
The Inn was very clean and comfortable. We traveled with our dog and appreciated the suite’s extra room- many hotels seem to have tired rooms for those of us bringing pets in addition to charging extra money for the pet.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We stayed in 3 different hotels during our trip and this one was by far our favorite and the best. Will stay again when in the area.
Everything was colorful, comfortable, amd super clean! The staff was amazing. So welcoming and helpful. The rooms had SO much space and also so clean. Best hotel stay out of many! Will always look for a Tru for trips!
The hotel location was great, the staff was very friendly ,the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was also nice. We had a problem with the bathroom sink but they fixed the problem quickly
The room could have been a bit cleaner. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The breakfast was nice with cheese omelets, sausage, French Toast, as well as the standard continental breakfast.
The staff are kind and friendly. The location is good. The hotel itself, the bed, room were clean. The breakfast was self serve, and adequate in quantity. Coffee good.
l loved the fact that all of the rooms are suites and at an affordable price. First hotel room that I’ve had with a walk-in closet! Everything was clean, major plus.
