The attendant at the front desk was very nice. I had just arrived from Charlotte through a he'll storm. I mean, literally a hell storm with high gusty wind hell the size of gulf balls. Well, I was so upset concerning the damage to my car. Sheniqua / Shaniqua/ Attendant was very comforting and encouraging. She made me laugh through it all, Shaniqua even suggested some nice restaurants in the area. My king-size mattress was comfortable, and my room was very clean. I can honestly say it's been some years that I have actually stayed in a nice, clean hotel. I normally stay at airbnb's, but since I was only staying one night, it was worth my hard earned dollars. 😊 Very nice area, convenient shopping, and restaurants l, rather its fast food,grocery, sit down in a good environment restaurant. Yes, I would come back, and hopefully, the construction will be finished. 😊

Breakfast was decent. Limited choices. No eggs. Mostly pancakes and a few pastries available which was fine with me since I don't eat much at breakfast. If you are really into starting the day with a big breakfast, you might want to plan on going out for it. There is a very nice shopping center next door and tons of other shopping and eating nearby.
This Columbia hotel is a 16-minutes drive from the University of South Carolina. This hotel is completely smoke free and all rooms have free Wi-Fi.

Breakfast good, bathroom dirty, long black hair in tub, sink need a good bleaching up around inside. NO ROOM ON VANITY. SAT IRONING BOARD TO SET TOILETRIES ON. All electrical plug in need replaced would not hold my electric cord in, plug in by bed would not hold at all. No room on desktop. Room needed dusting fridge was nasty.
It was hot all nite, air didn’t work, paid $164.00. Really
