We really liked the complimentary breakfast served downstairs in the dining room. The food was very good. A nice view from our room of the ocean. We liked the patio setup outside downstairs. Provides a nice place to sit and enjoy the ocean view. The room was comfortable for 2 people. Restaurants are within walking distance to the hotel. The valet employees were very nice and provided great service!

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean. The room itself was very clean and you could see the ocean from the room.

We loved all the high end touches…the coffee and teas for self brewing, the soaps, lotions, etc., the cold water waiting for us in the frig. We loved the afternoon cookies and the breakfast cookies and chia pudding. The fresh squeezed OJ was terrific too. The bed was very comfortable too. We also liked the fire pits in the evening….so cozy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We also liked how close the property is to the Ventura Pier.

I normally do not write reviews however this hotel is disgusting. The staff upon check in were rude and less than hospitable. The room smelled heavily of mold and dog urine. The bathroom sink and tub had rust rings around the basin. The bathroom walls were filthy with black dirt marks from previous guests including the front door to the room. Upon addressing the concerns with the front desk staff, they did not seem to care and advised me to contact the third party booking website for any assistance. There are plenty of affordable hotels in the area that offer better accommodations than this hotel, please stay away.

Ventura is one of the first beach towns you can stay in as you drive north from Los Angeles. Nice pier and harbor area and it competes with Oxnard just to the North as an easy weekend get away from Los Angeles.

Clean and commfortable place to stay if all you need is a basic lodging with some kitchen facilities. Not in a very good location, and the kitchen was very poorly stocked, but it served our purpose as an relatively inexpensive place to stay while visiting Channel Islands National Park.

I like Ventura.
I like Ventura. We usually stop in Oxnard for food but this was our fist time staying the night in Ventura. It is more affordable than Ojai and Santa Barbara. I would visit with my family again. The Beach House restaurant on the pier was great too.

Although the city is bisected by a busy freeway and a rail line, it's a great place to shop, walk along the beach, and as a more reasonably priced place to stay for visits to Santa Barbara and Ojai.

We went for the International Heirloom Exposition.
We went for the International Heirloom Exposition. It was fantastic!!! If you like to garden, I highly recommend it. Then we got to experience a little bit of Ventura. Their downtown/midtown gets a little crazy for us, but we found a ton of other eating options. I highly recommend Fresh Grill Ventura @ Main St & S. Santa Rosa St. Their breakfast bowl is the best!!! Fresh veggies and so tasty.
I had been in meetings since 7am, then driving from the North for 3 hours. I was supposed to meet my Grandmother at the hotel that night. Unfortunately, her flight was canceled until the next day. Scott was super nice, making sure that the room she wanted was ready and where she requested.
I was so tired, and a complete basket case checking in to the hotel, but, Scott was kind and patient with all my questions.
This hotel is true find in a sea of hotels in Ventura. Thanks again Scott for all of your help!
This is a great little hotel for a short or longer-term stay. the room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. I was very pleasantly surprised with my short stay there. if you're looking for a basic place to stay that is reasonably priced, with a comfortable bed, kitchen, and nice bathroom then I thought it was good. If you're looking for luxury or are super finicky about your lodgings then maybe this isn't the place for you.
Since Covid-19 broke out they’re using this location to house the homeless of Ventura. Kudos to them for helping out, but that wasn’t advertised. Did not feel safe at the property. The staff was rude and wouldn’t let us cancel our reservation. They did let us change our reservation from 4 days down to 1. So we were stuck paying $200 instead of the $1100. We paid and promptly left and booked another hotel.
Renovated room. Nicely done and so very clean. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The hotel is small which contributed to the quiet. We had a room facing the back of the building and heard no traffic noise at all. There was no problem finding a parking spot right outside our room. The staff was welcoming and warm. We visit Ventura often and will definitely stay here again.
This was a great Motel 6. The staff were all wonderful. The room was clean and tidy. Only thing lacking was a bed side lamp. The pillows were not great, but I have stayed at 5 star hotels that had horrible pillows too. It was close to the beach and easy on/off the 101 freeway. Will stay here again if I'm in Ventura in the future.
Pierpont is located high atop a hill with beach views. Room and bed were comfortable. Pierpont is a short walk to the beach and a moderate length walk to Downtown Ventura. Grounds resemble something you would find in Hawaii!
Close to beach. Nice restaurants near by. Beds comfortable. Staff very nice. Beach sandy and within walking distance to the pier. Price is reasonable for the location. Refrigerator and microwave and sink in our room.
The place is nice, clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Wifi was wobbly. We found it a bit expensive.
It is very close to Ventura pier, which is worth visiting.
Very convenient location in the downtown. Quiet place. There is a cafe and a small shop nearby. The hotel is not new, but it was clean enough, there is a coffee maker, coffee.
it’s my favorite hotel in Ventura this not the first and would not the last time . it was clean the customer service and front disk perfectly amazing .
