Super 8 Belen, hotel in Belen

First off when we arrived at the property no one was at the front desk nor did anyone answer the help number so i had to sleep in my truck for the night. Second the bed was broken and the mattress appeared to have dry blood stain covering almost the entire mattress. The refrigerator and the TV didn't work and the heater put out a really bad smell. Overall worst experience I've ever had at a hotel stay. I was able to check in first thing the next morning and only charged for one night so there was that..

Western Skies Inn & Suites, hotel in Belen

Featuring a heated outdoor seasonal pool, this hotel is 30 minutes’ drive from Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Free Wi-Fi is provided. A free deluxe continental breakfast is served daily.

The breakfast was a very big disappointment. I'm not sure that it was advertised a full breakfast but it certainly was not. Only a waffle, cold cereal, toast, and prewrappef muffins and apples. So disappointed that there was no juice just regular coffee.

The night worker was so kind and funny and down to earth made me feel really comfortable. This was the most quiet stay I have ever experienced at a hotel. The pictures on the wall in my room made me feel like I had a beautiful view even though my room didn't. It was easy and chill and the pool and hot tub were very inviting. The room was well ventilated so no musty smell. Very clean hotel. I was just extremely happy with everything!

Sorry the town Belen is beautiful.

Sorry the town Belen is beautiful. Your crappy ruined my family's vacation by sending us to high crime area and a drug dealer hotel manager. My recommendation for travelers: STOP using booking.com it is a shady, crappy, lieying reservation service.

Belen is a cute, little town. The people were friendly.

Belen is a cute, little town. The people were friendly. But if you are hungry, there are not many restaurant choices open late unless you want fast food. We tried to go out to dinner around 8 pm on a Friday night and most everything was closed.

    Small town. Quiet.

Small town. Quiet. Little bit a drive to “big city” of Albuquerque. Lots to do in area without shopping. Great sight seeing if you enjoy nature. Very friendly staff at hotel & nearby truck stops & restaurants.
