    We have been gone from Anadarko for over 50 years, but it is centrally located for towns we visit in the area. The Southern Plains Indian Museum was one of my favorite places to visit, but it wasn't convenient to go there the last few trips.

    We lived in Anadarko for 7 years, but have been gone for 53 years. We felt that the city has deteriorated, but that is not unusual for smaller cities in rural areas. We were attending events in Lawton and OKC, so this was an in-between location for traveling back and forth. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of restaurant choices in the evening. I would have loved eating at Castle Inn, but it is open only for breakfast and lunch. Their free breakfast with the room was awesome!!
