The scenery in and around Cashiers was beautiful, although I imagine incredibly beautiful during peak leaf season in the Fall. The highlight of our visit was the Waterfall Boat Tour of Lake Glenville with Captain Mark...it was wonderful and we highly recommend it as 2 hrs. well spent! We also enjoyed our dinner meal at The Library in Sapphire Valley and lunch at Happs. There's lots of good info for sites/shops/restaurants to pick up if you stop at the Chamber Welcome Center in the center of town. There are abundant boutique-style shops and a killer Hardware/Gift Shop/Garden Shop to visit. The only negative was that we felt overall, the area is quite pricey for meals and lodging.

The trails and waterfalls were fun and that made the trip worth it. The one coffee shop was over crowded and none of the servers were wearing masks. The ski resort was also way too crowded and sold out of times before 11am but maybe that is just the sign of the times.
The village walk was small and disappointing really. The green spaces and parks were really nice and pleasant to walk through. Most of the restaurants were actually in Highlands.

This is a beautiful quaint little mountain town.
This is a beautiful quaint little mountain town. Offers some amazing views of nature. Not a place to go if you’re looking for lots of nightlife and that sort of activities. This is a place to visit when you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of the noisy world. A vacation of rest and relax or take in some hiking, golfing, sightseeing and that sort of thing. Oh! There are some awesome antique shops and higher end boutiques in the area. Be sure to visit Slabtown Pizza! Delicious foods!
