Brookstone Lodge near Biltmore Village, Ascend Hotel Collection, hotel in Arden

Located off Interstate 40, this Asheville, North Carolina hotel features an indoor pool and free hot breakfast.

The facility and room was very clean. Check in and check out was very easy. Breakfast had a variety of options which met my needs. I liked the parking in a more secure location, but it was a little tight when all the spots were filled. It was very close to all the highway accesses and local attractions. Restaurants were within a few miles of driving in any direction.

I reported in the afternoon of February 17, I had accidentally chosen the wrong date for a reservation, at a motel in Arden in my rush to schedule everything to see my dying sister with a flight out of Montana on February 19th. I notified both booking.com and the hotel on the afternoon of the 17th, explaining that error as soon as I discovered it, also stating I could not be there as I am still in Montana on February 18th. I booked into the same motel, the Holiday Inn in Arden, for the 24th. When I talked to booking.com, I was told that I could expect to see a reimbursement email as this was an unintended error, and I did not stay at that motel on February 17. I have not received the email notification. I would appreciate reimbursement for the accidental error. thank you Confirmation # 4165.496.916 Pin 8519

Good location with easy access to Asheville without being squeezed into noise and traffick. Loved the fact that everything we wanted to do was within 20 minutes from the Hotel but far enough to feel relaxed.

The river was both teeming with wildlife and recreationalists. From our riverside cabin, we took walks down to the river to enjoy a morning coffee each day that it was not raining. We observed waterfowl a plenty. In addition, we went on a 4-mile paddle-boarding tour of the river (about 1.5 hours to complete). Arden was within striking distance (about 15 minutes) of downtown Asheville, which had quality restaurants and breweries. We especially recommend the *free* tour of the Wicked Weed Brewery, which includes a behind the scenes look at the brewing process and free samples.
