We like the town alright …we have friends there and enjoy time with them. However, I made the mistake of thinking that if we paid a bit more for a Comfort Suites Hotel, it would be nicer than the Red Roof we had visited the year before…WRONG!!! The Red Roof Inn was a much better experience. Why in the world would Comfort Suites put a bed right next to a window with NO CURTAIN, when there are Stalag 17 style security lights right outside the window???!!? It was High Noon in the room all night long. I’d ve asked to be moved, but we got in late, we’re leaving early, and had a lot of stuff we didn’t want left in the car.

Cute city not far from Nashville, right near the base, if your kids love the military like ours! Great variety of food choices! The people are interesting. Try to stay off Wilma Rudolph it won’t happen but just plan an extra 30 minutes to get to your destination

I only knew about Fort Campbell, famous for being the home of the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division (Band of Brothers Fame). I'm a military retiree so I like to tour different military installations. Fort Campbell's Post Exchange is one of, if not THE, largest in the system. I wanted to shop there. :) The area has a few of its own unique attractions but it's also 30 minutes from Nashville, which offers a plethora of other attractions.

Clarksville is a "military" town, being close to Fort Campbell. Its main thruway is Wilma Rudolph Blvd., it can get pretty congested at times. There is lots of places to eat and shop. It's not far from Nashville. There are winery's and distilleries that you can tour.

Too much traffic. Plenty of shopping. Wide variety of restaurants. El Paso Mexican restaurant had great food. Rafferty's is very good. Longhorn steak house is very good. Was there for a funeral. I would not vacation in Clarksville not much to do except shop.

We always stay at La Quinta and have even stayed at this one about 5 years ago. This last stay was very disappointing and we will not be back. The room felt dirty, the bed was extremely uncomfortable there was a spring coming through the mattress, there was hair in the shower, the pool was filthy, the exit door by the pool was propped open for anyone to enter the hotel, and you could smell weed and see the smoke in the hallway.

They know how to treat people, the front desk Management Ryan is such an angel. He gave me room downstairs. Because I am an old person. I loved his behavior. Thanks, Microtel. You have the best employee. One thing I want to mention here, there breakfast is very good. The housekeeping lady is not good. you should change her. I stayed there for two days but her service was not good at all. This hotel best value for money & stay. If you have any special requests kindly inform Ryan. He will solve everything easily.

The hotel was notably aged, and in dire need of renovation, yet the rooms were o.K. And reasonably furnished. The staff were really nice and always helpful. Good, rich breakfast included in the price. We just had come down from expensive New England and were amazed what we got for what we thought was relatively little money. The hotel is at an excellent location for Clarksville.

The hotel was so beautiful and it had everything you need for overnight stay. The lobby was so much fun and the people who were there were so kind and always helpful. We purposely would walk through the front door instead of the side door just to say high because they put us in a positive mood every day!

I've stayed here before. The location right off the interstate and the local restaurants is great. The hotel has ample parking and an indoor pool and jacuzzi tub. The rooms are comfortable and nicely kept. The breakfast was better than most hotels offer. This is a pet friendly hotel. 25 per night.
