This is my hometown and I always love to visit home.

This is my hometown and I always love to visit home. I brought my husband with me and took him to see some tourist spots. The Coleman Theater is a beautiful treasure that is worth a stop in Miami for a tour. Dinner at Buffalo Run Casino's Coal Creek was delicious. I highly recommend the honey bourbon smoked prime rib.

Miami, OK is on Route 66 so has a few historic places to visit. There is an awesome Historic Theatre there that has lots of great events. We went to see a great Elvis Tribute. If you are interested in gambling, there are about 8 casinos in a radius of 10-15 miles. 3 of which are in Miami. Small town so it is easy to navigate. Nice downtown with several shops.

    They have bed bugs.

They have bed bugs. I killed one and immediately took it down to the front desk and told the manager I have a hard time paying over $700 for rooms that have bed bugs. The general manger then began to tell me she will only comp 1 room because,. "My son peed in the bed." My son did infact pee the bed for the first time in months of his potty training because he woke up crying something was biting him and we searched and searched and had yet to find one yet. So according to Holiday Inn in Miami OK via Angela Wood GM, it is okay for them to withhold the fact they have a bed bug infestation from guest, allow guest to possibly infest their own home, AND they have the right to still charge you 2/3 of the bill if you young son is getting bit so bad he wakes up startled and has an accident on their sheets. I am not only shocked, but I am saddened and disgusted for not only how she represented Holiday Inn but for herself as a human. If this is how Holiday Inn runs it's corporation I would be appalled!

Liked the choice of 1st or 2nd floor room , great quiet ac/heat system , you could view your vehicle from the room window . Miami is an easily navigated town .we stayed specifically for gambling. The Stables was very disappointing and had gone down hill since last visit . Buffalo Run has been rearranged nicely . DO NOT leave a pet at Hometown Pet for boarding. We made and paid for special arrangements to pick our dog up Saturday morning at 9am . We finally reached someone at 10:30 am after attempting to find out who the owners/managers were . Even the police did not know . Poor business practices. We ate at the casino and food was great and reasonably priced and just had donuts the next day which were very fresh and delicious. Gas prices were 27 cents a gallon cheaper than just 20 miles over to Missouri .

This hotel went above and beyond for my husband and I. We ended up stranded with out a room for our 4 day vacation (due to problems with a different hotel) We booked this room at 545 in the morning and instead of making us sleep in our car until the 3pm check in time they allowed us to check right in and we were in bed by 6 am. The room was super clean and the staff is amazing. Will stay here again!!

This hotel was great. It was easy to access, check-in was quick and easy, and the parking lot is well lit. The room was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Breakfast had options, even for those like myself with food allergies. It was a welcome place for a one-night stopover.
