A beautiful inn. Quiet, clean, several places to relax within the property as well as outside seating areas. Kit is a wonderful host. She welcomed us upon our afternoon arriving, shared suggestions of places to visit. Inquired about food allergies, preferences, etc. Kit is an Excellent Chef. Each morning we were served delicious and healthy breakfasts! Our room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend The Bluefield Inn.

You guys! This place is beyond beautiful! I told my other half that I want to go somewhere with snow for my birthday, so he took me to WV to snowboard. On our way to WV it started snowing and I was already loving that road trip. We got to Bluefield Inn and there was Mr. Preston, who greeted us at the front door. Let me tell you, although it was our first time meeting, Mr. Preston is one of the most kindest, inviting, accommodating, and super funny human being. He was very knowledgeable of the house and its history. He even helped my other half to set up our room with petals, bouquet and balloons! He showed us around and told us the history of the house. He also showed us his dogs. Very well mannered dogs :). Our favorite spots in the house would be our very inviting and clean room, the pool place, the hallway upstairs with the huge mirror, and of course the breakfast area (love love to eat). Our first day, we did not get to eat Mr. Preston's amazing breakfast because we had to leave early to Winteplace, BUT he was too nice enough to prepare us to-go breakfast! MR. PRESTON YOU ARE THE BEST! On our last day, he made us such a delicious eggs benedict casserole with potatoes on a side and yogurt! We did not mind at all just being in this house all day. The host treated us as if we are his family. The uniqueness of the house is amazing from in and out. Very peaceful and really good for couples and families. Only about 30 minutes from winterplace ski resort. I recommend this to everyone ! Thank you Mr. Preston for making my birthday/our stay an unforgettable one! WE SHALL RETURN :D - Char and Mah

Bluefield is a great small town.... made up of people who built this country and made our nation great. Dinner at Cuz's was delicious, and the anniversary party at Fincastle Country Club was great.
