This location is awesome for attending the Bluegrass...
This location is awesome for attending the Bluegrass Festival in Winfield. We have stayed here twice now and the first time was the best - this last experience was questionable. Had issues with the door key after 10:00 p.m the first night requiring driving across the street to the office twice and then finally they sent a housekeeping employee to help and we got in. The carpet was ot clean, the shower head would not come on and the bedding was questionable. We will no doubt stay here again, and hope that the next time will be more pleasant.

Festival in a town close.
Festival in a town close. Difficult finding lodging except at this motel. The location was good for seeing the region, but City of Wellington did not seem to have much to offer a traveler. Would not be considered a destination town.

Has Walmart and several restaurant choices.
Has Walmart and several restaurant choices. Downtown has beautiful historic buildings and library. Although a lot of buildings are boarded up. The neighborhoods look full of families. We saw lots of dog walkers. The park by the freeway is perfect for picnics. The Turnabout made the traffic flow easy to navigate. We found it easy to wash laundry and our car at a well kept Washateria. We like KFC, and the one in Wellington has friendly staff; fresh Hot apple pies!

We booked through Booking.com. Since this was the end of our two week traveling, I was looking for an inexpensive motel. You get what you pay for here. The upside: the TV did work as well as the fridge.AAnonymousUnited States of America
