Centrally located to most of your destinations in southern illinois. Nothing is more than an hour away, and there's a few nice restaurants close by htat aren't fast food chains. Just be warned...like any "small" town, most of the sit-down restaurants CLOSE by 8pm. Plan accordingly. Or suffer with nuggets and other burger crap.

It's changed since we were there last, but it's been years.We ate at Pizza Hut,Hardees and Long John Silvers. Garden of the Gods and Cave in Rock are near by and there's so much more in the area to see.
