Was not as polished and clean/shiny as most Sleep Inns are.
Was not as polished and clean/shiny as most Sleep Inns are. But it was convenient, check in was quick, and parking was close. Would recommend for a quick overnight stay while traveling, but don't expect the 'extras' at this Sleep Inn.

Only stayed there because it was close to the venue we were going to. That was the only positive thing I can say about the hotel.
It is dated and dirty and didn’t have the queen beds that I booked online.
Would never stay there again.
In fact...I should be refunded!

For us, the Beaver location was perfect.
For us, the Beaver location was perfect. It was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit, as well as having a very large number of places to eat. The access was very easy with no traffic during our entire trip which made going to various places stress free.

Didn't really spend time in Beaver.
Didn't really spend time in Beaver. Only trip there was to go to dinner at El Mariachi Restaurant. Dinner was good, but I think they tried to rip us off. They charged us for two drinks when only one was ordered. It was suspicious because they charged us $6.99 for one and $7.00 for the other, masking what would stick out as a double charge.

The town of Beaver is just down the road from Beckley -- which was a coal mining town and which offers a great tour of a previous coal mine. Prices in Beaver are a bit lower than Beckley, but still close to all kinds of restaurants and other tourist attractions.
Location was fine and food was fine. Staff were friendly especially on day shift. The pet fee was much more reasonable than other hotels which is why we chose to come here. When we shared our concerns with the manager the next morning, she took twenty dollars off our stay... we appreciated it, but still are unlikely to return. It was very close to the New River Gorge National Park.
We had a long weekend anniversary trip. The cabin was nice, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and fan kept the place cool in 90 degree days. Nearby Beckley had the Coal Miners museum with early century village, and Courtland had Daniels Winery (cute tree sweater and nice staff).
The hotel was very clean. The bed was the most comfortable one we ever slept in at any hotel, including 5 star ones. And we have traveled a lot over the past 35 years. The shower was great too. It was a fantastic room for a very low price.
All the hotels in the vicinity of New River Gorge National Park are old, but this is cheap and very clean. A good base for exploring the southern part of the canyon, including Grandview. Not far away from Fayetteville if you travel by car.
Breakfast was fine...but if I am on vacation, hotels could extend the hours of service...by perhaps an hour. I am not an early riser---& being on vacation...I want to not have to hurry to catch a benefit of a facility.
It was perfect for what we needed - an overnight stay to rest on our way to Florida. Beds were comfy and the hotel is very pet friendly. Located close to petrol station and restaurants. Staff was very nice
The staff was very helpful and super friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall it is great, especially for the price. I've stayed in more expensive places that weren't as nice as this hotel.
A very good and clean hotel, with great clean rooms and very friendly staff.
Would love to visit again, for a price of around $75 this was the best value for money we've seen on our East Coast trip.
