I drove in from San Francisco for one night/2 days with my two pups. We started at the Visitor Center where I enjoyed the super high-end bathrooms, and then I took my pups for a walk through the vineyards and attached park. From there, we went to Vinewood Dog Park. It was HUGE! Completely fenced in and so much space for big dogs and small dogs all to be in there together. It was so large I was even able to play fetch with one of my dogs without other dogs trying to get his ball! The people at the dog park were super friendly - I met 5 or 6 others easily. From there we went to the Lodi Mission Arch for a photo opp. We learned about the arch's construction and meaning behind it. Then, we went to Jeremy Wine Company. They have a large, sunny patio in the back and they allowed my dogs back there. I did the Company tasting and my dogs snacked on a special treat, tied to umbrellas on the patio. We walked around downtown some more and scouted out a place for me to have an early dinner - The Dancing Fox Winery and Brewery was perfect with their outdoor seating in front so the pups could join me. I tied them to the fence and was able to have a peaceful meal (burger and fried for the win!). On the way to the Econolodge, I got some Coldstone. We had a comfortable night at the hotel and stopped by a donut shop across the street in the morning. A half-dozen donuts for $8!!! This is not your San Francisco price! Before returning home the next day we went to Lodi Lake. Part of it is under construction and it looks like the lake is almost fully drained so it wasn't the prettiest, but still a nice walk along the path that circles the lake. Again, we met many dogs and their owners. All were friendly. As a solo female traveler (with my dogs), I felt completely safe in Lodi. Even better, I was gone for one night and I feel like I had a vacation. I will definitely go back!

Easy drive to many wineries that offer really good wine at a great value without too much glitz. Some decent places to eat. Special feature is seeing the giant sandhill cranes November through January. See picture.

    First no Breakfast

First no Breakfast Second - They are all dishonest tried to keep my 100 deposit For a room that was cleaner when I was checking out but my husband over heard the manger tell the maid to say that the dresser was dirty oh and she took a picture of some dirty towels that were stained and old I told her that that was not the towels in my room cause I washed and bleached my towels then he said the room was full of dog hair and the needed to be deep cleaned not true I have a small did no more then 3lbs only their for 2days no hair I shed more then my dog horrible dishonest place if I didn't stand up to them I would have list my deposit one thing everyone needs to realize is that the deposit is for damage not for the room being dirty cause it is their responsibility to clean after you leave I mean if it was turn upside down yes they can keep your deposit but don't let these dishonest property management get over on you

I chose Lodi because it is a safe town and has easy access to highway 99. It has all the typical stores and restaurants that I am used to at home. The stay was comfortable and friendly. I would book this motel again.

I'm a senior who has real difficulty with stairs.

I'm a senior who has real difficulty with stairs. I asked for a lower level room and was given a great, safe handicapped room. I came to show my dogs at the fairgrounds so that was the only place I went. I brought my own food and was surprised to find a refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer in the room.

Lodi is a small farm town re-inventing itself into a destination for culture and nightlife. It's in the center of the big valley. With a short drive, you can be in a ski area, the state capital or the San Francisco Bay area. Lodi is the perfect base camp year round.

I've stayed in 10 hotels since the Pandemic began and every one of them have advertised HOT Breakfast yet served a Cheap bag breakfast. I, however am not concerned with the 0.03% chance I may contract this illness and would prefer to make my own choice on whether or not to have a proper hot breakfast versus a cheap bag breakfast. It is my opinion the hotels have used THIS Pandemic as a form of cutting costs while still charging the same rate.

I was able to use my wallet credit points to pay for this motel. I had 0 out of pocket expenses or deposits, and this was my 1st time using my wallet points. The room was very clean & the little sitting area was nice. The t.v. had a great variety of channels. We appreciated the property being dog friendly & the wonderful grass dog run area. The pool area was pleasant & clean, staff very nice.

One of the cleanest motels ever. Nice rooms, large and roomy with two queen beds. Had a nice blanket and the sheets smelled very nice. Coffee pot in room along with fridge. Nice towels along with shampoo and bars of soap. Great place for a weekend of wine tasting. Very convenient to some nice diners and wineries. We will be back next year. Park in front of your room.

The front desk Check in was very courteous and helpful in getting us a room. Upon our arrival they advised us that we didn’t have a reservation at their hotel through booking.com. This is the second time in two months that this has happened to me when booking a room through booking. Com. Needless to say, I will never use booking.com again to book my travel reservations.

The room was larger than expected. Very clean and convenient. There is a dog potty area with litter bags available and cans to put your deposit in. Probably the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed in. I'm not fond of the distance to get to Lodi but will definitely book here again if I need to go to Lodi.
