Lovely Northern California spot on Tomales Bay. The room was lovely, with wood burning stove, leather sofa, comfy king size bed, and the best bathroom ever! Bathroom had heated tile floors, his and hers sinks, clawfoot tub, and a beautiful walk in shower. We stayed in "Fly Fisherman" cottage.

Sea Ranch vibe, aesthetically pleasant interior design, lack of TV, walking trails around the property. Wild life - we saw a fox right next to one of the buildings!

They need more cleaning in the rooms, they smell bad and the bathrooms are not very clean. I found hair and dry skin on the sheets, as if they didn't put clean sheets on them. They didn't have shampoo or conditioner. I asked for service for Sunday. They didn't give me service. It was too much. that I paid for how dirty the room was and the bad dirty smell it had

Granted, we came in the off season, so we knew we weren’t going to get the full experience and we’d like to come back at some point. The bakery across the street had coffee and great pastries. The General Store is beautiful! The family who first owned it bought it back in 2021 and they’ve done an incredible job making it stocked with things you might need for your travels and lots of cute things to bring back as souvenirs.

Tomales is very quiet.
Tomales is very quiet. There's not much to do there because it has only two hotel/inns, a small but well-stocked store, two cafes, and a restaurant that appears to be open primarily for dinner.
This is not a place for people who want a lot of action. It was ideal for us to just get away to a quiet place.
Dillon Beach, Bodega Bay, and Pt. Reyes station are scenic drives during the day, but I would advise against drinking too much before driving the winding roads back to Tomales.
I liked the decor and the table for eating and the kitchen. The TV was nice and big and chairs were comfortable. It was a great location to access Bodega Bay and the coast. The Town was quaint and very quiet. The Wi-Fi access was very good. 👍. All in all was good but for $300 per night we would have expected more.
Gorgeous hotel, wonderful location, cozy rooms! The town is charming and beautiful and central to so many amazing places. We went on hikes, ate delicious baked goods from across the street, and discovered a meadery in Point Reyes that was a ton of fun.
The hotel is recently renovated and the rooms are comfortable and cute. There are custom accessories in the rooms and the common areas. There is coffee, tea, and water in the lobby. The owners are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
It was right downtown tomales which was perfect. The beds were comfortable and clean. Entrance/check in was extremely easy! Also smart tv and WiFi were wonderful with a 5 month old.
Very sweet, quaint hotel. Very clean and feels safe. Good size room. coffee and hot water for tea were ready in the morning with ceramic cups just down the hall.
