This is a hidden gem part of Missouri. Lots of new development starting to take advantage of the many quality wineries/vineyards in the area. It's also pretty country--the Emporium in nearby Augusta was a great shopping stop, as was Blumehof Winery and Augusta Winery. The town of Washington itself has a very nice riverfront restaurant/bar/shopping area, with plenty of free parking. We will be going back to spend more time here in the future, bringing friends.

It was a fun little town.
It was a fun little town. We ate supper at a restaurant downtown called the Dutch Inn and tavern. The meal was perfect. The service was great. The next morning before we left town we stopped at the Washington coffee house and had good coffee and breakfast. I would like to go back and visit Washington again

Nice, good location, floors squeaky, price a little to high...
Nice, good location, floors squeaky, price a little to high compared to competition. Dining room should be opened, if local restaurants are open, it should be the customers choice if they want to risk eating in.
