The room was clean, but the bedding had holes in it; we assumed it was from wear. The bathroom needed to have all the trim and baseboards replaced. Additional fees up the final price we paid by nearly $2; not much, but not what we expected—especially in light of the condition of this property. We would not stay here again.

Liked the location for our plans while in Ottawa. We have stayed at Comfort Inns in other locations and have been very pleased. This property could use an update. There were things that an attempt had been made to update but either done on the cheap side and shoddy workmanship. For the price was disappointed with facility. Other hotels nearby we may consider on next trip to Ottawa.

Pleasant town, people are friendly.
Pleasant town, people are friendly. We visited quite a few restaurants and everyone was very friendly and the food and drinks were delicious and tasty. Riverside Diner; El Mezcal; Primetime Grill; We B Smoking, Inc and Applebees. We B Smoking is actually in Paola, KS. You won't be disappointed, they took great care of us and their other customers. They spread us out from being on top of one another.

The staff in particular was exceptional, going way beyond the call of duty to cater to the very large number of cyclists staying that weekend for a world class bicycle gravel race in a nearby town. There was plenty of parking and wide lots which are particularly great when a bike rack is hanging off the vehicle hitch in back.

Dining room kept clean, food was hot and tasted good. Not lacking in quantity of food. The bed was extremely comfortable, including the pillows. Out of the 4 hotels I stayed at this trip this Holiday Inn was the best.
