Our main reason for our stay in Healdsburg was our dinner reservations at Singlethread. If one can secure dinner reservations here, it's worth a stay in town for a few days. Granted, Bay Area locals who have reservations will make the drive up to Healdsburg. Coming from out of area, the stay in Healdsburg, especially River Belle was well worth it.

The picturesque town of Healdsburg is situated around a quaint town square with shops, art galleries, and amazing restaurants. The location provided a quick ride to many wonderful wineries. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit all the wineries we planned on, however, one of our favorites was Matrix Vineyards. Make sure to ask for Miranda, she was knowledgable and delightful to chat with. Rochioli Vineyards provided us an exceptional experience and the Pinot Noir was amazing. The town is a foodies paradise. We especially enjoyed the food at Baci Restaurant. The quality of the food and service was impeccable. We celebrate our anniversary at The Dry Creek Kitchen. Our server made the evening memorable and the food was outstanding and the ambience was elegant but not stuffy. Two nights was not enough to enjoy all the activities and fine dinning experiences in this area. We will be back !

Delightful Square and very close to Westside and Alexander Valley wineries. Close to Lake Sonoma. Lots of gems in the B&B/Hotel choices. A Safeway is the only standard grocery. A starbucks is near. A 9-hole golf course. The eating options are amazing, but may want to refinance your house to afford it.

Healdsburg is a great destination for wine and food lovers.
Healdsburg is a great destination for wine and food lovers. There are lots of restaurants, wineries, and shops. In particular, we loved the Dry Creek General Store, Chalkboard, A. Rafanelli Vineyard, Hafner Vineyards, and Flowers. There is plenty do to outside, as well.

I loved the large soaking tub in the room, the comfortable couch tucked in the corner of the room separate from the sleeping area, we had an in-room fridge and complimentary water both still and sparkling. The entire property was beautiful and well kept, the pool, bar and sitting areas.
Not everything was bad. It was a charming representation of the wine country it set in, with terra cotta paint schemes, pretty murals and grape vines covering the walls. The two pools were nice, not very deep and a little too warm to be honest. The hot tub was very pleasant underneath an ivy coated gazebo. The location was nice, in close proximity to a beautiful and vibrant downtown, Healdsburg is certainly a hidden gem of the north Bay and made for a great vacation. Also the staff was friendly, accommodating and efficient.
Breakfast was excellent. There is an inordinate number of fees added at this hotel for parking, registration, destination fee, etc. etc. etc. My bill which started out at $209 ended up being almost 240, and the original bill included nearly thirty dollars of added charges.
This facility was exceptional - we had a spacious, thoroughly equipped room with many special amenities.
The location and the fact that it is located in Healdsburg downtown, so you don't need to drive to go shopping, dining ...it's very convenient in that regard. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless clean. It had a nice patio and swimming pool, which we didn't get to use because it wasn't hot enough.
Location, very convenient to walking the Healdsburg downtown area. Thank you for the treats delivered to our room to celebrate Teri’s birthday and also our anniversary. Greatly enjoyed the five course dinner at Dry Creek Kitchen. The accompanying wines added to a fantastic dining experience.
The staff was very friendly and they gave us a tour of the hotel upon early arrival. The property has only a few rooms, that are fully renovated and the hotel itself has a lot of facilities to enjoy (mini golf, pool, pickle ball). We had the most delicious homemade breakfast every morning.
The room and the hotel were fantastic as was every staff member we interacted with. Everyone was exceptionally helpful, gracious and helped us make decisions about our schedule there. Highly recommended!!!!
This place was great, clean, and easy— but I saw they were charging ~ 650$ a night for weekend, and this seems completely outrageous. This is like a spiffed-up Residence Inn, it’s very far from a 5* hotel.
