It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops in historic Folsom. The grounds are beautiful and the location on the American River Parkway and Lake Natoma has many hiking trails. The outlet mall and movie theaters are a 5 minute drive.

Folsom is my hometown.
Folsom is my hometown. I left in 1992 and last visited 19 years ago. My last visit was awful. The traffic was horrendous and there was an edge to the people. Thankfully Folsom seems to have grown into itself. The traffic has improved as the streets were improved. Every business I visited had friendly staff. There are trails galore and at this time Folsom Lake is full. Lots of outdoor activities. The oak trees are beautiful. There is tons of shopping. I hope to return soon for vacation.

We lived in Folsom for 4 years.
We lived in Folsom for 4 years. We had to relocate in order to be closer to our family. Folsom is a great town. It has all the amenities every family wants and needs, ie, walking and biking trails all over town. There is the also the famous Folsom lake. This town had lot of upscale restaurants and the city is safe and clean.

We visited the Folsom Zoo which is a rehabilitation place for wild animals, what an adorable wonderful place! The animals seemed happy and content. Downtown Folsom is wonderful and quaint with lots of shops and places to eat.

Sure looked good all decorated for Christmas around the historic district. The hospitality and cinnamon rolls at Station Cafe get a 10+. Would like to explore more of the hundreds of miles of walking and biking trails around Folsom.
Large well-equipped suites, cozy feel (including the public area Great Room), pleasant indoor pool area with ample lounge seating, good breakfast and coffee all day, and located near major shopping area(s) (restaurants, shops, Whole Foods, Costco, etc). I was there working on a writing project and it was the perfect quiet getaway place. Highly recommend this hotel!
I travel to Sacramento twice a month and I usually stay at the Marriott in Rancho Cordova. This was my first time booking a room at the Courtyard in Folsom and I will never stay anywhere else 💕🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️
The freaking location.

Amazing Staff
I have always loved Marriott but I’m forever sold.
We were visiting family in Folsom for Thanksgiving, and we needed to bring our dog. the apartment is in a pet friendly complex and we felt very comfortable
the apartment is around back of the building, so we never had anyone walking around near us. It was very quiet.
we will look into staying here again next year.
I got this hotel on a whim around 10:30 pm. absolutely would stay here again. The ladies who checked us in were seriously phenomenal. Great breakfast, location was great, it’s a nice hotel, indoor poor.
I go based off reviews & am picky so I hope this helps someone. seriously 10/10.
they failed to honor my reservation and then reported me as a no show. said there was a mechanical problem with the room while checking multi night guests right in front of me. They sent to the hotel next door who said this happens daily
Room was very comfortable and clean. Had a nice view of the back of the hotel and river. Location is great. Walking distance to the downtown. There is a free shuttle service that is awesome! Perfect for a little get away.
Close proximity to restaurants movies outlet mall and light rail. Took it to old Folsom and had some excellent food and drinks. Nice kitchen and a tub.
