No complimentary breakfast or coffee. Charge for everything. Greedy management! Spend money where you ae treated with value, respect, and appreciation. Not just for your money!!! I've been all over the world staying in 5 STAR Hotels, this place want to be luxurious but they forget about Customer Service to their customers. It's all about getting your money here. They don't realize that people love to give their money if they are treated well. Need to fire the management or rebuke them.

What is most memorable for this trip is the mistake I made in booking Warrenton Va when in fact I was heading to Warrenton Oregon. My booking had everything I wanted big room, big bed, air conditioning, free breakfast...next time I'm in Virginia I'll have to stop by.
I had a great visit with my family thanks to the understanding people within the hotel industry. Thank you Red Roof!

Warrenton is lovely, historic town. Lots of great shops. We highly recommend enjoying a meal at Claire's at the Depot, as well as a stay at the Black Horse Inn Bed and Breakfast! Our only disappointment is that we could not stay longer :)

Warrenton is a sleepy Virginia town with a nationally known bakery -- Red Truck -- that is excellent. Main Street has some cute shops and a few restaurants, but it is not exactly vibrant. The town has lots of character -- old houses, trees, and old "gaol" or prison with a museum. Local cemetery features Confederate graves, including Mosby (of Mosby's Raiders fame).
We loved everything about this place and plan to get away from the house here in the future because it's close by to where we live. Breakfast was AMAZING. The staff waited on us while we ate as if we were paying for the meal. Wish we had a cash tip to leave, next time we'll come prepared. Front desk went out of their way for us. The property itself is just beautiful. They're pet friendly. Couldn't believe how nice everything was for the price of our stay.
quiet, well maintained for its age, staff where accommodating and friendly. The lodge was a perfect place for us and our Teens they even enjoyed the game room. My in-laws live in Warrenton lakes so the location is perfect, and the scenery cant be beat.
the worst hotel- noisey and frankly question if there was a prostitution ring going across from my room. Booked hotel on late holiday needs- never again. DO not book- spend the extra money or travel to be comfortable.
Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was clean and water pressure good, my big selling points. That said the hotel is starting to show its age a little, and then amenities, towels, and breakfast were only ok.
The location was perfect. If your intention is to spend time in Old Town Warrenton you may not find a better location to stay. I had a really nice time and would certainly stay again.
Location. Room was remodeled recently but there is a lack of attention to detail. The building in back was quiet. Parking lot has plenty of spaces and good lighting.
