The hotel was great, but two of the three restaurants/fast food we ate at were filthy, some of the worst we've ever seen.
The one we had dinner at was amazing, wonderful Japanese food (Sakura 22). Very clean! Highly recommend!

I was so happy to see the Breakfast selection was so large - there was something for everyone - and I appreciated the sweet woman keeping it clean, well stocked and fresh!!!
We did not explore much of Woodstock, most of our time was at the Hotel or traveling to/from a wedding. The traffic did seem to run smoothly and things were well marked.

Can't beat the affordable location with mountain views and small town feel. There were fast food and convenience stores closeby. The quaint local restaurants and things to do made it a great getaway. Its close proximity to the highway and other cities you may want to visit.

Too expensive for what you get, over charged me even though at check in I showed them the reservation on booking.com, had to call back to actually get refund of difference. breakfast wasnt very appealing and only had enough room for 10 people total to sit.

We were traveling from NY back home to NC , wanted to stay mid way not far off the highway . Had not stayed in Woodstock before and decided to try it. we did not have enough time to really explore, but what we saw will make us come back. We ate at Cracker Barrell, one of our favorites when traveling and the staff there was exceptional.

Woodstock is a very wonderful place to visit, especially in the summer. You can drive to the tower at the top of the mountain and see the seven bends of the Shenandoah river. You can go fishing or windsurfing or antiquing. You can visit caverns or wineries in the area. The only real negative is there are lots of fast food restaurants, but very limited fine dining.
I like that the hotel is in the back, away from the main road so it's quiet - no passing traffic. The hotel is always clean and front staff are welcoming and accommodating.
The room was nice and clean. The staff was pleasant. Very helpful.
It's in a good location. We had a relatively quiet stay. I would recommend this hotel to Friends.
