    Abilene is a great town.

Abilene is a great town. It wins all kinds of awards for being one of the Best Small Towns in America, The Best Towns in the West, etc. The Eisenhower Presidential Museum and Library is top-notch and is worth the trip alone. They have a recreated Western town, a carousel and steam train that serves dinner. The downtown is nice and has many mom and pop shops and restaurants. They could use more lodging options and a brewery.

The town of Abiline was great.

The town of Abiline was great. I would highly reccomend it to you. The Eisenhower museum is first rate. There are many great places to eat. There are many historic mansions that you can see while you are there. I would reccomend the Seely Mansion on particular.

I really enjoyed the tour of the Seelye Mansion, although...

I really enjoyed the tour of the Seelye Mansion, although the house does not have central air conditioning and it was VERY hot! However, the house has been well maintained, and the tour guide was knowledgeable and flexible with the amount of people that ended up being in our tour group. I was disappointed in the Presidential Memorial Library and Museum. First of all, because of the pandemic, the federal employees that usually run these sites were not working. I was able to obtain a ticket into the museum from the Abilene Visitor's Center, but the on-site visitor's center, the Library and President Eisenhower's childhood home (also on the property) were not open. I love museums so was very satisfied with that experience, but my sole reason for visiting Abilene was to view the Eisenhower Presidential Memorial site and its buildings, so I was very disappointed overall at not being able to see everything. I took time to drive around Abilene and see (in passing) many of the original homes/mansions that were built and are still being lived in. It is a pretty little town, and the local people are friendly. I recommend it to lovers of our country's history!

The main reason I have stopped at this motel repeatedly is the security of my belongings and the ability to park 5 feet from the room. This motel is also a great location if you are planning to visit the Eisenhower library and Abilene is a nice quiet town. Ike’s is a good restaurant in the same parking lot as the motel and Sonic is across the street.

Bed were comfortable with clean linens, air conditioning worked very well, bathroom features and amenitieis were great, room was very clean. My reservation through Booking.com somehow did not make it to the hotel. Thenkfully they did have four vacancies left, and even gave a further discount than the one provided on Booking.com for a better room.

The owner was very friendly, even when I arrived after 11 in the evening for my check-in. The hotel was quaint, comfortable, easy to access, and affordable. It had a refrigerator and microwave in the room, as well as a coffee maker and a hair dryer. The bed was super comfortable and there were a variety of pillows.

Location was good - easy to get to and close to everything I needed to be near. Room was clean and adequately set up, especially for the very reasonable price. I like that there was no carpet in the rooms because hotel carpet is gross. Front desk staff was friendly. Check in and out was easy.

Howie was great. The room was nice and the wifi worked well. Small TV but we did OK. Only thing to be aware of, is the heat is controlled by the hotel and by the room. So we had to ask for a blanket for the night. Overall, if I was going to Abilene, I would stay here again.

I didn't eat breakfast there because I wanted to eat at a local eatery. The location was perfect for what I wanted to do and see in Abilene, KS. The room was clean; the bathroom was mostly clean. The management and staff were pleasant and responsive to my needs.

The woman in charge of cleaning and renovating the rooms was very pleasant and helpful. I believe she is the backbone of the premises. Sounds like she has a lot of ideas for the motel and once they get finished, it will be the best place to stay in Abilene!

The location is good for visiting Abilene. The town itself offers little outside of the Eisenhower Library. The price is very cheap and so not much can be said about the quality aside from it being perhaps in line with the price.

Considering that there is only a few places to stay in Abilene—this hotel seemed like a good choice. The location was close to the highway and had plenty of parking.

Location is on Abilene's only (insofar as I can tell) "main drag", so was fine. Price was low so we didn't expect much, but we were still disappointed.
