Genoa is a quaint historic gem of a city with lots of deer as residents. Several delicious restaurants are in town. It’s quiet and secluded. I stayed at David Wally’s Resort for about 5 months on a business trip once and fell in love with Genoa. I wish I could afford to live there will all of the spectacular views.

I have always loved this place, but this time was not good!
jacuzzi was ice cold could not use the hot springs pool had to use Colorado pool which was filthy with hair & bugs :/
our room was full of mosquitos by sister got chewed up during the night
for what they charge this all could of been a much better experience
I love David Wallys. I have stayed before it was HIVC. And after. I like the location of the hotel. The natural setting, green surroundings, and wild life. I have had a one bedroom suite 2x and a stuido 1x. Borth are nice. I wish there was more info on all the room options, but maybe it is only for HIVC members as they were receiving baked good as a gift upon arrival and we did not..... hummmm.
I Love the paved walking trail that will lead you In to town and back.
IT was OK, huge fee's tagged on, and we didn't use the pool or hot springs.
There was NO water pressure in the bathroom, and our toilet kept breaking. Were there for MY wedding didn't have time to deal with that stuff but I'm so tired of hotels not putting good shower heads in the shower, that trickle out the water.
You’d have a hard time finding a hotel with better views and natural ambiance. Waking up to the sunrise over the wetlands in front of you and the mountains behind was sublime. The rooms are comfortable and clean, as well.
The hotel property is very nice but the service and the facilities service (hot spring/swimming pool) are NOT available unless you are a share holder in this property
Hot springs and hotel together- very comfortable
Hot springs amazing
Last year the food (meat) was better
We like special Patrick menu (Irish Corn Meat)
