Not such a safe place in general but staying inside was best weather was bad. Beware of roaches only closed containers that keeps you from carrying home the critters and be prepared to stay awake unless you like visiting bugs lol

I really like this town.
I really like this town. It's got the old bluesy vibe that contrasts Cincinnati across the river well. I've always felt Covington has been underrated due to being overshadowed by Cincinnati.

We decided to stay 2 nights after initially booking one night only. The price was right, affordable for a brand hotel.
We mainly stayed in a hotel to rest. I did not get out very much.
But my husband liked the restaurant area he went to

The front desk workers were incompetent and could not find my name. waited 1.5 hours and they still could not find my name. They suggested I make new reservations through priceline.com once I did that, by their suggestion they never told me they found my original reservation so I was charged twice, and they refused to refund me my money, they are a horrible company, I have made several reports against them and no one has contacted me regarding this matter. 419-905-6423 Tanya Patton

We had a great trip.
We had a great trip. It was the perfect launching point for our visit to the Cincinnati area. The immediate area was great--super good restaurants and bars within just a few minutes. And did we mention our unit was on the street of the MARDI GRAS PARADE! What fun! Getting into Cincy was a breeze--and we enjoyed the multiple art galleries, (Sign Museum was a TREAT!) and the zoo!

The staff could have been a little more friendly.
The staff could have been a little more friendly. Also breakfast was to be included in the price of the room but was not aware of a needed voucher? Had to show a copy of receipt where breakfast was included. My younger brother and I were there for a weekend football game; the staff didn't make us feel very welcome.
Wonderful location for exploring Covington and Cincinnati on foot. We were able to attend Blink without worries about parking. The apartment was well appointed and nicely decorated in minimal style with soothing colors and original art. We appreciated being able to park across the street. We would have enjoyed having decaf coffee on hand and were disappointed that we couldn't get the TV to work. A downside for us was the noise from the outdoor bands at nearby venues but guests staying up later might not be bothered by that.
The Covington Hotel is a beautiful property. We were amazed at the comfort and beauty of our room. We'r traveled there to be with our friend who was honored to be the hometown hero at the Reds game. It was a spur of the moment trip. We could not have been happier with our choice. Breakfast was delicious! We said we would drive seven hours again just for that gravy biscuit! The staff were all wonderful. We were provided a free shuttle to the game. Our driver was very friendly. We had a fabulous weekend.
The hotel is close to various bus line stops, an excellent choice if you plan to take public transportation.
The room was clean and spacious, bed comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, I was able to leave my luggage there for a few hours after checking out, so that I could do some sightseeing before leaving the city. Russell was very resourceful solving the scanner issue for my credit payment.
For my second night I got a quiet room as requested, it made a huge difference.
Thank you all!
I loved the view from the room. They also have amazing breakfast. The location was nice, it was an easy walk to GAB, since we came for the purpose of going to Reds games. Free daily drinks were nice, and my kids loved the restaurant food as well. The fridge in the room was super cold. Most hotel fridges are terrible, so this one was great comparatively. Kids loved the indoor pool.
This hotel was a last minute stop on our way to Florida. The room was fine on the first floor as requested. The thing both my husband and I didn't like was the bathroom door. It's not really a door, just a large, sliding opaque glass barn door which does not lock or muffle ANY sounds. If you are alone, it would be no big deal, but if not, it may. Other than that, it's fine.
The hotel is stylish and fun. As a fan of architecture, I enjoyed the soaring atrium and many spaces to hang out. Being a renovated department store gives it a cool vibe. The room was huge. I liked the eggplant walls, minibar was delightful and bed excellent. The room was quiet and I slept well. The staff is welcoming and very helpful.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Check-in and out were smooth and quick. Valet service was responsive and pleasant! The hotel sits on the riverfront and the views from that side are absolutely gorgeous. There is also quick access to patios and amphitheaters w/up close views of Cincinnati’s iconic downtown.
I liked the hotel's convenience to downtown Cincinnati; the cleanliness of our room (and the building as a whole); the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, as well as their willingness to put up with my silly sense of humor and bad jokes! Breakfast offered lots of options and everything tasted great!
Hotel was good overall. The localisation was good, next to the conference centre, there was no problem to easy get to the city or use bus. Breakfast was very nice and tasty. You could choose table with river view or eat inside the Lobby. Evening snack and drink was also nice.
Although we didn't eat the provided breakfast, there was one available. The stovetop and fridge in room were welcome. The hotel staff was very very helpful. It's a decent place to stay with your pet. The other ledgers were nice too!
Great location! Had a nice afternoon in the cool downtown Covington area and then had a easy ride to the game. We walked back to enjoy the nice evening.
