The outdoor firepit was nice and the sitting area/common spaces were very nice. We spent quite a bit of time sitting near the fireplace. It was nice to get out of the room and have a relaxing area to visit and talk. The rooms have been updated nicely.

If you come here you won’t be disappointed. A comfortable office chair with big office table and they decorated the lobby with big Christmas trees. Would not recommend staying here to visit D.C. as the traffic would make commute terrible. Bed was comfortable. Should have been told when checking in that we had to beg for clean towels and that there would be no water for six hours one day. I could never recommend this hotel to anyone, it's dirty, parking garage does not adjoin the hotel, old appliances stacked in garage, cars in garage with flat tires, empty cups and trash and elevator filthy, hadn't been cleaned in who knows, room smelled, we left and went to another hotel. told front desk but they just gave me the managers name and number. The parks are beautiful, Lots of hiking and picnic areas. We spent 2 days on the beaches close by. Rockville town Square is a nice treat, taking a stroll through the shops and ending with yummy icecream at the marble slab creamery.
