We have been using booking.com for several years. Usually we have great results. In this case the “overbooking” was blamed on booking.com. We drove 3 hours straight through once booking with the Travellodge Stratton. Arrived at midnight only to be behind other customers that also had “NO ROOM” for their reservations. Well, they had one room, their second room had someone asleep in it. When it was my turn. I was told even with a confirmation #, I had no room. The travellodge Stratton even refused to let us use a bathroom, then turned us away. We ended up sleeping in a rest area. The two men, one behind the desk on the phone and one drinking coffee were rude and couldn’t have cared less about their customers predicament. Because we weren’t actually able to stay as our reservation didn’t make a difference I couldn’t tell you what the rooms were like. But if the rooms were anything like the service we received, I wouldn’t recommend.

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
